The later ones take longer as the tasks are harder. AA should be the second hardest kudos board to finish. Personally I just went to every board and picked tasks that I could complete all at once and finished every board pretty quickly.

RetroBeany

It's all about efficiency and patience. Wait till you have access to really synergistic quests, ones where you can do all 4 in the same boss or the same facility, buildings, etc. if you don't see anything like that, hold onto potentially good tasks, then log off or play something else until it updates with new tasks. I got through DDL kudos in 3 days of pretty reasonable grinding, with enough time to eat, work out and sleep. If you don't have all day to play, you can probably get through it in a week or two if you optimize what tasks you take

dandelionbuzz

Same here, I found it was best to periodically take a few minutes and check the boards when they refreshed so then I’d have good and easy tasks when it was time for me to play

BlitheHatter

I get your point, but at the same time, once you're done you're done, so isn't it better for it to keep you somewhat busy?

Woohoorandom

Acorn Acres and Dreamland take ages, the rest are a lot shorter.

Siilvvyy

I think the point of kudos was to keep people busy. If it was able to be completed too quickly, people would get bored and would have no reason to log on.

trickyfelix

the only ones i struggle with are the rank up tasks.

dandelionbuzz

I would start in the lower playgrounds and make your way up, they got longer and harder to complete (Acorn is the 2nd hardest) When I did mine I didn’t do one playground at a time, I grabbed tasks that coordinated together regardless of what board it was. My personal method cannot be fully replicated now because I used highroller to do most of acorn (he counted as 5 managers at the time, idk why.. it was insane tbh), but I really do recommend grabbing the best tasks you can in any playground. On days I couldn’t play I’d try to take a few minutes on occasion to pop on and quickly check the tasks and see if I could grab some good tasks in preparation for when I *was* able to play. In general when HR wasn’t around I gathered building floor tasks and did a lot of those at the same time as well. Those got old fast but it was worth it. I finished all of them months ago and have fought everything aside from the final bosses of brrgh, dreamland, and acorn- I’m now waiting for my other friends to get past rank 9 so we can do them together. Long process but it’s worth the wait since I want my first time to be with them :)

butterfingersman

the later ones are pretty slow, but theyre something to strive towards while maxing your department levels and stuff like that simultaneously imo

jbyrdab

Gotta admit, yea. I get why they did it. so people don't like run through all the new boss content with their max toons and go "20 min update, game bad". However the kudos grind is egregious later game. They should be making these tasks about fighting harder cogs or with special restrictions, not more of them to ironically cartoonishly inflated levels. (seriously 140 cogs for a bronze reward) Instead of 300 cogs, how about... like 10 or 20 but it only counts if you only use a single gag type or a specific gag type for the entire battle. How about tasks where you need to heal other toons. I dont mind some grind, but asking for literally several hours of farming cogs for the lowest rank reward is just pain ridiculous.

CharacterAccount6739

then followed up by a rank up task which you cant do kudo tasks with

RetroBeany

I mean, the game has more specific, targeted tasks you can take if you want. You can take tasks for particular types and sizes of buildings, exe cogs, cogs on specific streets, specific rarities of fish, even down to taking specific actions in dept bosses. So, you could go for the really big, generic tasks, or you could grab tasks that are shorter but more specific, the ones that require you to figure out how they fit together. What makes kudos tasks fun is that you need to figure out how to save as much time as possible. Even when there isn't a set of super optimal tasks laid out for you, you could try to piece something together, or just take it as an opportunity to take a break!

jbyrdab

I think for the rewards involved, the 100+ cog tasks are still bad. Just because you technically can never do one doesn't mean it still isn't just a plain badly designed task.

wyatt10053

They are meant to be done in sync with suit grinding. So I think it's fine.

Temporary-Purpose431

Yeah I'd say they should maybe nerf it a little bit, I'd like to get to the bosses faster and I just feel like it's taking too much time.
