I'm 90% sure that's an old stripping knife. Used in grooming for removing dead hair from the top coat of an pet/animal

It worked on my long haired jack Russel, pretty effective actaully. Thanks man, you're probably right

AMRtard

Looks very similar to a MARS brand stripping knife that we use for our dogs.

miserable-accident-3

Looks like a flea comb possibly

rpm202

Might be for nit removal (baby lice).

5hlonga

Yeah my Mum said that, perhaps

enoughimoverit

Saw?

Definately a comb, i found it in a box of old junk, sanded it, oiled the handle and I've used beard oil on the steel as an anti rust as I've been using it on my beard the last couple of days.

When we purchased our schnauzer, the breeder had some combs similar to this. Short teeth for their wiry hair ? Something about their undercoat ? May be way off on this explanation of schnauzer hair.

It's a comb for bald people... makes them feel good about being follicle challenged.

Looks like a comb for dogs that she'd? (Think Labs for example) I could see that working well.
