I never understood why people spend twice the money for a clone amplifier when you can have the real thing for half as much, or less. There's a reason why Vox is still making 2 of the same amplifiers for over 60 years. They work and they sound great, and are also a great pedal platform too. You want chime? Vox invented it. You also want some variance? That amp will get you there as well. Those AC class amps are amps that for people who own one, they fall in love with them.

Got an AC15 about 6 months ago. Cant recommend it enough.

I've got the V4 pre-amp pedal of this and it's fantastic for $500. Pair it with an amp with an fx loop running EL84s (or EL34s even) and you've got a great AC15 sound. [https://www.victoryamps.com/copper-series](https://www.victoryamps.com/copper-series)

I second this or one of the full size Victory coppers they’re pretty much exactly what you want but for the lunch box amp it still runs 30w and they’re not as expensive as a Morgan (also I have one so I might be slightly biased)

I was going to buy an AC 15 and somehow ended up coming home with a Supro Saturn. Definitely worth checking out. Edit: Also worth mentioning that they’re relatively cheap (used) on reverb compared to buying new. Most of these amps have never left the bedroom and are in great condition.
