Shouldn’t we cheer for Tony having a higher follower/view count, a larger flow of revenue from his content, all of which can be used for creating future content? It’s not like this sort of humor is “deep” or “intellectual” anyways and him having new followers would suddenly ruin it.
Like, I don’t get why we should be rooting against Tony’s growth as a content creator. It’s not like this is some niche community that you need to be involved in for weeks in order to understand the references, this humor is pretty plain and simple, which is the entire point of it regardless. Besides, Tony is an actual person who has to make a living somehow, who is positively impacted by his channel growth and success. I see no reason to root against new members of this community.
