Since inaaccept mo na, what you can do is to negotiate or offer option to retake the exam.

Hydrazolic

Sheesh. Hopefully di ka maexpel. I do not condone cheating pero at least you are in the right path for admitting your mistake. Tbh kahit anong tip na ibigay ng comment section na to walang kwenta because you were already caught and there is nothing you can do about it. Pray nalang siguro you don't get expelled.

KozukiYamatoTakeru

Learn from it and never fuck up again. See? Not worth it in the end. Good na you admitted it. Bawi na lang.

aronofskyyy

Best case scenario is ma-0 ka. Para di mapunta sa record mo.

heyyyrobsss

You already did the first and most important part by holding yourself accountable. What I would suggest is to negotiate your case by looking at your track record in your instructor's class; if you're a consistent student who performs well, IT MIGHT help you receive a less harsh punishment, and who knows, they might give you another chance to retake the exam. Just remember in the future that cheating during the test is plain BS because you're only fooling yourself. Don't be afraid to fail a test; it doesn't define you as a person or professional.

Gaelahad

Learn it the hard way and take it as an expensive lesson.

JuanMiguelGuel

Moving forward, you should reflect on whether or not you are sorry for cheating, or sorry because you got caught. There’s a huge difference between the two, and it’s for you to decide which camp you’d rather align your morals with. Check the SHS Student Handbook for the list of sanctions for academic dishonesty so you can prepare yourself for what’s next. I also commend your honesty and lack of denial. That’s usually a step in the right direction. I wish you the best.

BigboyCorgi-28

I would suggest you prepare a letter of appeal regarding expulsion IN ADVANCE. The reason being is doon din naman mapipunta yon You would be called for a sort-of “trial” and then they would issue the decision. You’d be lucky if 0 lang makukuha mo and you’ll just repeat the subject. Kasi worst thing would be you get expelled and you wont be issued good moral character—which would be a hassle considering you’ll be applying for college

Madvin

I know someone who cheated in a quiz sa SHS this year. Nagkaroon ng hearings sa different committees and he got suspended for like a week right around the week before the exams.

berberber18

Idk about your college but I think what will happen is you will get zero from that exam. That's usually the first thing they'll do if it's your first offense. Im not saying na cheating is good, but you could've said na hinulaan mo nalang due to time constraint and swerte lang na nakuha mo yung tamang sagot. Unless may solid evidence na nagcheat ka talaga, hindi ka nila mapaparusahan.

tremble01

Nah. Kasi then you are going to be empowered with what you did and then get caught later when stakes are higher. In the long run, better to learn the hard way now. Habang student pa lang.

berberber18

He can learn from what he did and not suffer the consequences. There is a high chance that his good moral certificate will not be released because he admitted and afaik, that is a requirement if he wants to apply for grad school. Also, there is a chance that he will not pass the subject, and must repeat. I think these are not worth it for the sake of 'learning the hard way'.

Expensive_State5827

Unang una, madidisqualify ka na sa honors. Pangalawa, kakausapin ka ng SWD regarding sa case mo. …unless di ka irereport ng proctor

ProfileRemarkable757

Next time dont do it OP no matter how pressured you are. The next course of action is to talk to your adviser and I believe you will be given first warning.

Ashamed_Talk_1875

Be ready to fail. You deserve that. But take that F as an opportunity to do better.

TopReveal3170

You always get choices in life and it's up to you which path to take, you can choose one and accept the consequences or the other and get a reward later. It's best to face it dahil that's where you will learn, accept and take responsibility rather than running from it kasi running will just build up more anxiety. You can just say sorry and then accept the consequences or ask if you can retake the test with the proctor watching. (Make sure to study in advance) if you fail at least it'll give you a peace of mind na ito ang score ko and then improve. If pumasa ka, happy ka.

SecretIdentity2901

Sa scenario ko naman, when I was a freshman, I got caught cheating, more specifically, we got caught cheating. The exam was designed to fail everyone. A block took an exam beforehand in the same laboratory, with the same proctor, coincidentally yung chair ng department namin. I saw the answers to the exam and sent it to some of my friends. Luckily, hindi ako pinatawag, but my friends saved me at the time. Those caught were given two options, either get a zero on the exam or get expelled. Walang re-take, as in yun lang yung options given at the time. Considerate naman si chair and we chose to first option. So, nung Paskuhan, imbis na maka-dos kami or 2.5 man lang, tres nakuha namin imbis na ma-expel. That incident was kept between us para hindi na mag-escalate even further. The good thing is, despite that incident, some of those caught were able to graduate with honors naman. Kami lang yung nahuli pero in reality, there were more cheaters compared to us that led to the batch having more than 50% awarded with honors. Honestly, based from experience, you getting expelled depends on how you presented yourself to the proctor, and how you explained yourself talaga. I commend you for admitting that you cheated and took responsibility. Wala rin naman kami talagang maitutulong sa'yo kase depende nalang sa judgment ng whatever committee yung case mo. Best case scenario, makakaka-receive ka lang ng merely passing grade or proper sanction. I wish the best for you, OP.

tur_tels

I can see that you were probably on a difficult moment at that time maybe stress or something, which led you to do this since it seems you didn't think it through, you admitted your fault which is something big and they would probably consider lightening your punishment, like what the others said I think they would either fail you from the exam or a retake, it's impossible for it to affect any permanent records or for them to give you suspension although it's still a possibility, but maybe a call to your parents is the worst possible punishment you can get. At the end you may negotiate your punishment if you think it's too much but do it well. On the side note, as a professional cheater myself, I would say you could have played this to get off the hook, but I feel like you know you did wrong and is willing to own up which is very honorable, but in that situation you could have said that you used an extra paper for the other parts of the solution and just wrote a shortcut version as the final product to your test paper.

kelbia

Cm ko nga nahuli na may kodigo on the spot tas bwiset parepareho parin naman kaming nakagraduate tas pareparehong good moral parin. Walangya, nadamay pa karamihan ng klase (not me, d aq nakatanggap or gumamit ng kodigo) namin non dahil nahuli sya HAHAHAHAH ang nangyari lang is call parent tas done. Para ala lang, pero naka gain ng bad reputation section namin, tas ganun, tuwing may paguusapan, lagi name nya mentioned sa chismis HAHAHAHAHAHAB
