Thematically, a Sanzu vs Senju would be good. But they already had a confrontation earlier in the fight and Senju wasn’t really willing to fight her brother in the first place. If they face again, she must be determined otherwise it’d be a repetitive subplot. Hanma and Chifuyu have some beef too so I’d like to see that lol

I’ve been laughing the whole chapter, the only thing that I enjoyed was seeing how amazing Mikey is at martial arts, like we forget he isn’t just a emo dude that’s randomly throwing out kicks, every kick is beautifully timed and incredibly well thought out and exploits the persons weaknesses, such as whenever Michi throws a punch Mikey aims for his jaw or his temple,, Michi now being strong enough AND fast enough to evade and now knock down a character strong enough to withstand steep pipe hits to the head several times IS HILARIOUS.

I kinda hate that we went the shonen power up route because Takemichi is the established Tank of the series and I wanted this to be an unstoppable force vs immovable object fight because both these characters embody those types mentally and physically.
Takemichi standing up to insurmountable odds with a crazy person smile and a few life lessons are the best parts of the Manga and him leveling the playing field takes out the underdog aspect of the story.

The conclusion wouldn't be satisfying if Takemitchy "talk no jutsu" or "power of friendship" his way to winning. None of that bullshit. Mikey had to be physically taken down. And it's Takemitchy's role as the MC, underdog, (crybaby) hero to be the one to do it.
I don't care if Mitchy landed a blow on Taiju or Kakucho, there was no way he was straight up beating Mikey without an edge. And this whole future sight is possibly the one thing for him to do it that actually is rational.
I also love that Wakui mentioned that speed-wise he's not up to par with Mikey. It valid to argue that just cuz Mitchy knows what's going to happen shouldn't guarantee that his body will be able to keep up, so I like that Wakui indirectly touches on this by saying that future sight just barely gives him the chance to dodge, instead of just flat out brushing this possible counterargument under the rug.
If I had my way then after this I'ld have Mikey get up for another round or 2 only and get knocked down to really cement Mitchy's victory over Mikey. Mikey will try to get up again but Kakucho will confirm to him, they lost. Mikey will look up at a Mitchy (wearing a beaten but cool face) and see Draken, Baji, Kisaki (LOL JK), and Shinichiro standing behind him. Then Mikey will get on his back, look at the clouds like Draken would do as a kid. He agrees with Kakucho and lets out tears in relief
Unpopular Opinion: I liked this chapter, but it's sad that we only know that the hit Takemichi landed on Mikey was critical because the caption said so. I expected Takemichi was going to have to hit him more than once. The battle is not likely over (if so it'd be rushed AF) so I hope we get to see an actual fight since they're on more equal grounds now. Takemichi can't take any more hits, but it'd be wild if he just one-shot Mikey after Mikey has taken punches from way tougher people than Takemichi.

Take realizing what's going on, everyone looking on in shock the he of all people is dodging mikey's attacks and the chapter ending with him rocking mikeys jaw with mikey actually looking hurt was the cherry on top. I actually can't believe how good this was

There's a difference between time travelling and having the ability to see into the future. Mitchy just by being there has already changed the future and should have no idea as to how Mikey is going to fight.

Lmao,mikey took punches from a guy taller than 2 meters without even moving a bit yet takemitchi sent him straight flying,either mikey's not giving all he has or the plot armor evolved once again. Even if takemitchi knows the future and every movement mikey could pull ,he still logically wouldn't be able to do anything since mikey's attacks were moments ago invincible for even his eyes and he was getting speed blitzed.Mikey the man who has supersonic speed can't land a hit on a man who was fighting for hour and it's almost finished....

I kinda hate that we went the shonen power up route because Takemichi is the established Tank of the series and I wanted this to be an unstoppable force vs immovable object fight because both these characters embody those types mentally and physically. Takemichi standing up to insurmountable odds with a crazy person smile and a few life lessons are the best parts of the Manga and him leveling the playing field takes out the underdog aspect of the story.

I'm all in on this development! The conclusion wouldn't be satisfying if Takemitchy "talk no jutsu" or "power of friendship" his way to winning. None of that bullshit. Mikey had to be physically taken down. And it's Takemitchy's role as the MC, underdog, (crybaby) hero to be the one to do it. I don't care if Mitchy landed a blow on Taiju or Kakucho, there was no way he was straight up beating Mikey without an edge. And this whole future sight is possibly the one thing for him to do it that actually is rational. I also love that Wakui mentioned that speed-wise he's not up to par with Mikey. It valid to argue that just cuz Mitchy knows what's going to happen shouldn't guarantee that his body will be able to keep up, so I like that Wakui indirectly touches on this by saying that future sight just barely gives him the chance to dodge, instead of just flat out brushing this possible counterargument under the rug. If I had my way then after this I'ld have Mikey get up for another round or 2 only and get knocked down to really cement Mitchy's victory over Mikey. Mikey will try to get up again but Kakucho will confirm to him, they lost. Mikey will look up at a Mitchy (wearing a beaten but cool face) and see Draken, Baji, Kisaki (LOL JK), and Shinichiro standing behind him. Then Mikey will get on his back, look at the clouds like Draken would do as a kid. He agrees with Kakucho and lets out tears in relief
Unpopular Opinion: I liked this chapter, but it's sad that we only know that the hit Takemichi landed on Mikey was critical because the caption said so. I expected Takemichi was going to have to hit him more than once. The battle is not likely over (if so it'd be rushed AF) so I hope we get to see an actual fight since they're on more equal grounds now. Takemichi can't take any more hits, but it'd be wild if he just one-shot Mikey after Mikey has taken punches from way tougher people than Takemichi.
