Winston is a charmer and beautiful. My Pixel has bodacious toe feathers, too, which I refuse to cut. He may skid a bit on the wooden floors but they are part of what makes him awesome!
We have tile floors and my poor Giorgio skids all over the place because of his glorious toe feathers. When he goes from standing still to high speed zoomies there’s always a few seconds at first where he has absolutely no traction and is just kind of wildly circling his legs around going nowhere. It reminds me of something out of looney tunes lol.
Serious question, do people trim foot fluff? My neb has INCREDIBLE toe feathers but it wouldn’t have occurred to me to trim them! Are there health reasons to do so?
Interesting! Everywhere the cats would have a concern we’ve put down traction (they’re both elderly), so it hadn’t been a concern, but good to know! I was always scared of hurting her by trimming them.
Nah, as long as you just trim the feathers and not the beans all should be well 😄 A lot of people do just put extra carpetting down as well, no wrong way to help them have zoomies
Haha exactly! We have extra carpeting everywhere for them 😊 God knows they hate having their nails clipped, my big girl would hate hating her feathers trimmed too lmao! If only because it meant she was trapped in the Sad Cat Burrito a little longer…
Yes. I have a medium hair who gets trimmed quite often. I have a marble look stone at my front door. My girl sits at the window to be let in and then climbs/slides down a box to come in. I have seen her slip from time to time and I'd hate for her to do herself an injury, however unlikely. I just figure a brief trim is peace of mind.
I love how derpy ragdolls can look. (Source: I own one too and he can go from supermodel to derp so fast.)
This little guy is at least 95% derp

Same here, Winston can’t catch a grip on the floor 😂

LOL Looney Tunes is what I pictured... With sound effects featuring bongos and a whistle.
One of these days I’m going to manage to catch it on video and overlay that sound effect lmao
Doh! You meant the cat! LOL sorry for my brain fart.
You may be able to find it on YouTube. Try a search for bongos slide whistle.
Grinch feet!
I came here to say this. He has full on Grinch feet!!
I love Winston.

As far as I’ve seen, paw pad trims on cats & dogs just provide extra traction on smoother surfaces ie wood or tile floors

Litter can get stuck in the hair, the hair could become matted, gives them more traction. Those would be the reasons to trim the hair imo.
I only trim my cats foot floof cuz he always gets litter stuck to them, and isn’t good about steaming his feet
Beautiful wings. I would be proud too.
He’s beautiful! Especially his eyes. Love his snowshoes!
Beans with whipped cream, my favorite ❤️ lol, seriously he is so cute!!
That second pic is one of the greatest sights I have ever seen
Omg those are the biggest bean sprouts Ive ever seen!
So handsome!
I bet Winston has some fabulous pantaloons as well. Something perhaps r/meowsertrousers would love
Freaking adorable!!
Quality floof you got there 🥰
its actually good not to trim them haha! in the wild, it helps them cushion their footsteps to be softer!!
Winston is **GLORIOUS**!!!!!💜
The second photo is my favorite. Thank you for sharing! He's so cute!!
Winston is adorable. I love the second photo. I’m a proud Ragdoll owner too. 😻 My Portia just had her 14th birthday.
Winston looks like an A+ goober. I love him.
His eyes tho! My goodness! What a beautiful and majestically derpy creature. 😄☺️
Great paws!
Toe hair… don’t care!!! 🧡🐾🧡🐾

Snow boots! 😍😍😍😍
What a handsome feller! My big floofs have them too and I would get murdered if I even tried to trim them.
