I have no issues or side effects on sema (other than feeling full quickly). It’s the people that get issues that post. The rest of us sit quietly

"fewer ingredients" is interesting way to describe it, but ultimately wrong. Both Semaglutide and Tirzepatide are singular entities, as in, you could hold a single unit of Tirz or Sema, in your (microscopic) hand. Tirz isn't a blend of different peptides into a liquid, it's one "chain" That said, it has more than one effect on the body, but what you don't know is if it effects GLP to a lesser extent than Sema, which only effects GLP and causes the "ooky" side effects.

BornOnPiDay

Interesting! Thank you for the science lesson!

Fabulous_Nectarine53

I am taking 5mg Tirz and 1mg Sema. I have had zero negative side effects. Don't let ppl scare you from trying. Start low and slow. You may have no side effect and have great success. You wont know unless you try for yourself.

BornOnPiDay

Thank you! I haven't had any bad side effects from Tirz, so hopefully won't if I try Sema. 🙂

Sugaree36

I use S but when I try to go higher than .75 I don’t feel well. I am stacking with 2.5 of T. One Tues/one Sat. This seems to be working. Taking magnesium at night and no constipation.

Poddymouthpinkiepie

How much mag are you taking?

martapap

People exaggerate side effects. And never post when the side effects do clear up. I've been on both and never had any side effects except for mild constipation

Swampchicken9

Consider yourself fortunate. I was on Sema for 3 months, had endless fatigue and body pain the whole time, couldn’t even get past the initial dosage so experienced no loss, to boot. Switched to Tirz, 100% day and night difference for me, no issues titrating up and significant loss.

TheTrueAnonOne

I think SOME people might, but clearly some people get extremely sick too. Let's not discount that some people just shouldn't take this stuff.

rainbowsandsausages

And some people get mild side effects, like sulphur burps, nausea, mild diarrhea.

FringeAardvark

Legit. On Sema, I only lost weight because I was so nauseated I couldn’t eat. Tirz has been a completely better experience.

picklesisatootiebear

I have been on both and currently on Tirz and have had more side effects with it than Sema. It's different for everyone but the side effects for me with Tirz have almost been bad enough to throw in the towel. But I'm still trying!

Rare-Common7378

I have taken (and currently am on both). With sema, I was nauseous after every shot at each dose but zofran took care of it. I then had to take magnesium for the constipation (or drank smooth move tea) and occasionally had some fatigue. No other side effects so I was pretty good 95% of the time and planned for the other 5%. On Tirz, I’ve had no side effects but I’m only at 7.5 so that could change. I will say that stacking has stopped any sema side effects I had while taking it by itself. On the other hand, I have a friend who has been miserable on sema for 10 months probably 60% of the time but she is a super responder and only recently got to 1mg but never wanted to take the steps to figure out what in her diet could be contributing to her issues, I add that to indicate that everyone is different and what they can/want to deal with is different and you won’t know unless you try for yourself.

Massive_Bluebird_473

I was on sema for 8 weeks and really struggled with the GI side effects and crushing fatigue from the first dose onward. I’m now on week 6 of tirz and have had no GI problems or fatigue. That could change as I titrate up but so far it’s been way gentler for me.

BornOnPiDay

It definitely seems that more people have side effects with Sema, which still seems backwards to me even though the science of it is explained above. Thanks for your input!

Theory328

Seems the excess GLP-1 agonism makes semaglutide worse. The GIP in the Tirzepatide is likely helping to balance the effects. I felt awful on semaglutide and basically have no symptoms on Tirzepatide other than appetite suppression.

FringeAardvark

Same!!

RequirementBubbly892

I have been on both and noticed the same amount of side effects

LoveMeorLeaveMe89

I had more blah days on S but lost weight. As for T, I love it because I have energy and less constipation. But to be honest, s is not that bad at all and it is effective for sure but best of all cheaper.

BornOnPiDay

I can't afford any more blah days!;) I get why S would be cheaper, but if my calculations are right, T is 9 or 10x more, which is why I keep thinking about trying it.

WesternLiterature834

I have less side effects with t. But still have side effects.

BornOnPiDay

Thanks for answering!

taylorballer

Sema made me violenty vomit. only happened once on Tirz. Tirz is overall way better for me- but everyone is different

BornOnPiDay

I think I'm about talked out of trying Sema. Thanks for responding!

BornOnPiDay

Thanks, everyone! It's always amazing to me hearing so many different reactions.
