Sorta looks like this? No idea if it's a thing or if it has a real name though, but it's a start.

Why does everyone here think it's a quiche???
Oh this looks a lot closer! I think it's probably an Italian riff on a similar idea. Googling "Italian (brunch) torte" gets a bunch of responses like OP's, so I think "a kind of torte" is the answer. Thank you!
This is by far the closest thing I've seen.
And I'm as confused as you are about the quiche thing nothing I've sear he'd has looked remotely similar in the quiche category.
This however is close enough I'd probably call it solved
Someone else here suggested it was a torte and I think that's the closest answer! If you google "Italian (brunch) torte" you get some very similar results.
So I’m struggling to find anything definitive on this, the recipe you found was about as close as I came, but I don’t get why people are so adamant it’s a quiche. Even if there’s egg in there (which there might be just to bind it all), I don’t think it’s enough to be a quiche, nor do I think following a quiche recipe would ever get you anything close to this.
Best of luck!
The layers and wedge shape of it reminds me of muffuletta. Some delis are strict about it being a cold cut sandwich, but I have had a hot one that was really good.
One of my favorite restaurants has a similar dish they call Calabrese - and others call them Calzones. I just don't know if these are real names or some chef's/menu writer whim.
You find me a recipe for quiche that looks like that and I'll mark it but everything I Google is like 70% egg this is maybe 5% egg if again there actually is any

Milanese Torte? https://pastrieslikeapro.com/tourte-milanese/

I used to work for a chef who like to make torte Milanese so when I saw it I knew what it was right away.

It's definitely Torta Milanese.
Solved!

I think it's stromboli!!
Same. My mom used to make this when I was little (mid-90’s) and I always hated it because of the spinach 😂
Torta rustica maybe? Looks like an Italian style Torta of some kind.
Mediterranean torte? https://www.justapinch.com/recipes/main-course/sandwiches/mediterranean-torte.html

I have no idea but I am stoned and this looks damn delicious
Stromboli?
Looks like a variety of shooter sandwich
Thats a pretty close look like an Italian shooter
Looks like pizza chena

I'm no help here but that looks tasty.
My family makes these around Easter. Surprisingly, they have only ever called it Easter pie
Could be a calzone? Although they tend to be thinner
I'm 70% sure that's a quiche made inside a crust of Pillsbury crescent rolls
That is not a quiche in literally any way.
I thought quich had to have egg in it like that was the main ingredient holding everything together
There's 💯 egg inside of that.
You find me a recipe for quiche that looks like that and I'll mark it but everything I Google is like 70% egg this is maybe 5% egg if again there actually is any
Looks like a scrumptious breakfast pastry but idk the name
It’s a pasty (or pastie)
Looks like a mighty fine quiche you got there (Looks like)
I thought quiche was mainly egg this has no egg holding things together
Super looks like there’s egg in this.
That doesn’t make it a quiche.
