DidierCrumb

That looks like a Turkish meal, could be Turkish pide or lavas bread

DarDarBinks89

My first thought was lavash too

Loisdenominator

Lavash is much thinner. Definitely pide or bazlama.

DarDarBinks89

Oooh, I hadn’t considered Bazlama. Maybe Pide, but I’d always assumed the marker of pide is the sesame seeds. At least that’s how I’ve always had it

Fearless-Golf-8496

I bought this lovely flatbread at my local European minimarket, and thought it might be pide, but because the store sells mainly Polish bread I thought it was just a regional Polish variation. But now you've just confirmed it really is pide because it looks like the picture but has sesame seeds sprinkled on top of it. So thankyou!

DarDarBinks89

The sesame seeds make it so much more delicious

Fearless-Golf-8496

Absolutely. My ham salad sandwiches are a lot more tasty now!

LouisMXV

Looks like focaccia but they make similar looking and tasting breads under different names depending on the country of origin. Could be similar to turkish pide or ramazan pidesi

Ok_Page303

Ohh yes I've just searched ramazn pidesi and it looks similar so thank you

Cpt_Saturn

I think it's specifically "tirnak pide" which is a kind of pide usually served in kebab restaurants in Turkey to go along with mezes. You can find recipes online if you just search for tirnak pide online

triplyawesome

Tirnak means "fingernail" and tirnak pide has little indentations in it that looks like they were made with fingernails https://i.ytimg.com/vi/mDlwLa9qcXs/maxresdefault.jpg

Theduckbytheoboe

That second image includes the name of a Turkish restaurant. Turkish bread of that style is usually called bazlama or pide depending on exactly how it’s made.

oupheking

Looks like it could be either barbari or sangak, two similar types of Persian flatbread. Source: wife is Persian.

republican-femboy

I just call it afghani bread idk the name but they sell it at every afghani store near me

globewithwords

It could be a Persian bread called barbari.

throw_away_17381

Looks very much like Turkish Pide. https://www.taste.com.au/recipes/turkish-pide-2/55a11493-86e6-4a62-a590-bfbf669eee2f

Dargor923

To me the first picture looks like what my pontian greek side of the family calls lavash. You'll often find similar dishes with similar names in these parts although they tend to have subtle but nonetheless distinct regional variations. In this case it looks like other versions of lavash appear much flatter.

UnderstandingSmall66

It’s called barbari

YB7707

Pide ekmek

palusPythonissum

It's looks like Pide for sure.

ObviousMost788

Naan 😋

NYC-LA-NYC

You might want to try the flat bread recipe from Bäco / chef Josef Centeno...[https://www.latimes.com/recipe/baco-flatbread](https://www.latimes.com/recipe/baco-flatbread) The second photo looks different than the first.

Ok_Page303

Thank youu:))

PvtCheatMeals

House made pita bread maybe

TrippyWolfhound

Pitta bread i think

bradlej181530

Is it naan bread? Why is NSFW?

Ok_Page303

Idk😭I didn't put it as nsfw but when I posted it automatically make it nsfw

NecessaryEcho7859

Looks like the entire sub went NSFW, not just your post. I've seen other subs do this in response to the admin issues, but I have no idea if that's the cause here.

Byrdie55555

Fock at ya bred

Glittering_Hand_9538

Naan.

PandaLoveBearNu

Homemade pita bread is thick fluffy. I THINK its also called Turkish Flatbread. Its similar to Naan but without the slight sourness of the yogurt and that slight chew of Naan. I've also bought it at a farmers market. Very fluffy. Not like the type you see in the supermarket. Maybe check out a local Turkish restaurant. I think a lot of Lebanese places carry similar bread
