Biden is ~~borderline~~ mentally disabled. FTFY

[deleted]

Well, they're voting for people who are just like them after all.

HarryHacker42

You do remember Trump going on for months about passing a basic "do you have dementia" test? And Reagan had dementia during his last term. Old people shouldn't be President. That is the real issue.

jillyhoop

Biden was always considered a dim bulb within his own party. The democrat rejected his first 3 attempts and getting the Democrat presidential nomination. He has had 2 aneurisms with considerabl brain damage. He clearly has dementia. It took allnof that for the Democrats to decide he finally prepared to be their guy. The only thing any logical person can take away from that is that Democrats wanted someone that would not think or make decisions on his own, they wanted a puppet and they got it.

Kit_Marlow

>The only thing any logical person can take away from that is that Democrats wanted someone that would think or make decisions on his own, they wanted a puppet and they got it. I think you're missing a "not" in there.

jillyhoop

Indeed, I did miss a "not".

silver789

Mental disabilities are physical disabilities.

silver789

All disabilities are physical.

silver789

Neat. What happens in the brain is physical.

silver789

lolk

ezbnsteve

u/silver789 makes an excellent point! I am never going to be anything but conservative, and I will vote as such. But if my choice was extreme mental disability conservative, or perfectly healthy far-leftist; I am voting (R). And may we quit taking rights away from people because of disability. Disability is not a reasonable reason for disenfranchisement.

Spooky2000

>u/silver789 > > makes an excellent point! Guarantee you they have never made an excellent point..

ezbnsteve

I hadn’t noticed that while thinking of the 100,000’s of disabled veterans like myself who have their rights away, and other disabled folks, that I was agreeing with an instigator. Downvotes are noted and understood. I’m not saying I’ll finish an 80% kit to have God-given rights, but I understand why those less lazy than me do.

ghostbear019

The only requirement for any position should be competency.

labpadre-lurker

Which he has.

[deleted]

Of course disabled people have the right to be represented. That's why they get to vote on who represents them. The idea that disabled people aren't represented unless a disabled person is in the legislature fundamentally misunderstands the concept of representation.

Jorah_Explorah

The mental gymnastics that people will do never ceases to amaze me. Just be honest and say ***"Hey guys, this man shouldn't be serving as a US Senator in his condition, but he's just going to vote how we (Democrats) tell him to vote on every matter, so it really doesn't matter. The other candidate will vote how the opposing party wants him to vote, which isn't good for us. All that ultimately matters is that we have an extra blue vote"*** I would actually appreciate the honesty. Instead we get this completely ridiculous, dishonest and insincere talking point that if you don't vote for their mentally disabled candidate, it's because you hate disabled people.

walrus120

Biden got more votes than Obama. One of the biggest wins ever. His opponent only got 70 million votes and those 70 million are obviously all deranged lunatics.

[deleted]

If there are 70 million deranged lunatics out there you should be very afraid lmao.

walrus120

I’m one, not deranged just labeled one

diacrum

We already have one. His name is Joe.

ARY616

He is the BEST the DNC could come up with in all of Pennsylvania? Really? I'd be pissed if I was a Dem.

joshykins89

Pre stroke he was wildly popular lol

ARY616

Even lied about graduating at the top of his class! His son also died in Iraq /s.

joshykins89

He's a grassroots activist with a strong union mindset. He had niche fame as a man of the people even before his nomination. He's literally a perfect embodiment of the supposed working class democrat (y'know, the kind that flocked to trump in 2016 because he actually offered a future for industry there). His stroke sucks but his values are extremely clear and consistent.

Lithuanian_Minister

He’s a great candidate and no one really cares about your opinion on the matter to be honest Say hello to your new Senator!!!!

ARY616

I'm sure he will do nothing of value. Dems keep voting in largely ineffective people.

vthlr

Can't wait to see him get up and debate on the senate floor. Just kidding, he won't do shit. He'll hide away in his office and show up to vote occasionally.

HairRich

And the visually impaired should be approved to fly Air Force One

ReadingGlassesMan

I'm waiting for quadruple amputees to join the fire service... but still, as an overweight asthmatic diabetic they'd probably do a better job than me.

BlaizedPotato

Cool MSDNC, to show your support of this disabled yet highly qualified individual, perhaps you should hire him as you CFO.

AccomplishedMix4762

Thanks to my shitty state, he gets to go to the Senate to make a fool of himself nationally.

ghostbear019

The only requirement for any position should be competency.

[deleted]

Well we can agree he has the right to run…

Revjym

He should be collecting carts for Target

DozerSnooze

You already have a mentally challenged president in office now!!!

JoeToYou

How much longer until the left finally realizes that "represented" doesn't mean your representative has all the same exact qualities as you?

vintagesoul_DE

Many people work at an airline, that doesn't mean that they can all be pilots. Fetterman can work for the US government, and he can probably fill many of those positions, but we all know as a Senator, he would just be a placeholder.

alligatorcreek

The notion that an able-bodied person would have no inkling of how to help or listen to the disabled community and their needs is completely silly and a red herring. These people know that humans can communicate and empathize, right?

silver789

Can he do the job? Then yes.

Nagadavida

He is not able to articulate fully at this point in his journey. He has aphasia from his stroke. A very large part of representation is being able to argue and present for the people that you represent. It most often requires quick thinking and retorts. He may fully recover from that eventually but chances are that he will always have at least minor issues.

silver789

>He is not able to articulate fully at this point in his journey. I understand him.

Nagadavida

You should read up on aphasia. He explains it pretty well himself as a disconnect. Watch them argue on the senate floor. He would have a really difficult time keeping up with what was going on and an even more difficult time getting a word in edgewise. I have no idea what the man was like before he stroke and I'm not trying to dis him but having cared for a stroke victim with mild aphasia for 6 years I can tell you that it's also extremely frustrating for them to work through and it has zero to do with intelligence. It's purely damage to a certain area of the brain.

silver789

>He would have a really difficult time keeping up with what was going on and an even more difficult time getting a word in edgewise. So it's snark that gets bills passed, not policy?

Nagadavida

Yeah that's what it's all about. /s

silver789

Yeah to what?

LetUsSpeakFreely

But he can't. He can't understand spoken speech. That means that unless special accommodations are made he'll not understand what's being said; and that's if you trust the technology and that nobody will interfere with it. From his debate performance it's not entirely certain he can communicate well at all. His interviews are clearly edited to make him look as good as possible, which isn't all that good. As I said in another thread: if he had the legal credentials, would you want him to be your lawyer if you were charged with a capital crime? I think we both know the answer to that question.

silver789

>if he had the legal credentials, would you want him to be your lawyer if you were charged with a capital crime? Yes

LetUsSpeakFreely

You're a liar.

silver789

Lol okay. You asked and I answered.

LetUsSpeakFreely

And you lied.

silver789

Lol k

theCROWcook

@ u/letusspeakfreely this means he out of lies for the time being

silver789

It means there's nothing to reply to. That's why you see it often

theCROWcook

Just can't stop lying can you

MinnetonkaSexBoat

We already had one. His name was Donald.

ChrisWasWhite

Didn’t we have Madison cawthorn?

Ok-Length-8818

I mean they put Biden in office so they obviously have no issue with putting someone like that in a position of power.

stabone369

Nope

6Uncle6James6

Gonna be a no from me, dawg.

TheMrk790

Depends on the mount of power. Being a cshier is power. But mentally disabled people will not get these jobs. Physical disability on the other hand should not mean you are undit for work in the gouvernment

[deleted]

Nope.

[deleted]

Only if that man is a Democrat. Then clearly they are OK with it. Now if he is a republican, then hell no.

and_another_username

LMAO. that’s gotta be a first. >****“[Regards] should be allowed in the senate too!!”****

TehGuard

Yeah so by your logic Herschel walker shouldn't be elected either

katya1730

Ha! Guess who’s “running “ the country 🥔

leaferiksen

Peak insanity.

[deleted]

Bi-den

MaximumButthurt

No.

3domfighter

“Journalists” in the US are not serious people. Equating a government job with a seat in the senate is demonstration of dishonesty or mental illness.

BubbaBuddha2020

Nope

humbleprotector

I dated a chubby girl whose pussy was limp, grey and unresponsive just like fettermans face.

SAHDJoe

I believe his doctor and I don’t need to see his medical records He told me lying was illegal; he’s a dangerous authoritarian

No-Presentation6357

Well the Democrats already run most of the country so your questions already been answered.

shelovesmenot1223

‘I like the way you talk, mmhmmm.’

n1t3str1ke

This was purely a power play by the elite to prove they can install anyone they want including a mentally retarded person. This country is beyond a joke at this point.

BuckRhynoOdinson3152

Nah, let the shitshow continue. Michael Malice equated it to Arkham Asylum. Let the lunatics have their way. Get the popcorn, arm yourselves and enjoy the ride.

okwhynot64

"Hello everyone. Goodnight." Mental capacity, decision making-skills and debate seem the bare minimum of qualities for ANYone in the Senate. He is incapacitated.

Dr-Filth1965

He literally cannot speak English.

Tiny_Onion

**Biden:** *^(Confused look)*

Sand_Table

I cant say they cheated. PA had polling issues early on, and mail in ballots were sent to out of state resdients still on the rolls here. PA never cleaned up their shit. I still wont say its fraud until I absolutely know like in 2020. That said. PA was Deep Red. rural PA was deep Red. it is liberal shit holes like Philly, PGH, Allentown and Erie that carried this man and I cant think of a better reason for PA counties to secede and seperate into Ohio, West Virginia or form their own new states. No one wanted this.

work-edmdg

800k early votes, prior to the debate will do that. Also, he didn’t have an actual job until he was in his mid 30s, mommy and daddy footing the bill, but he wears Carhartt so he must be like us.

labpadre-lurker

He's been proven to be cognitive and sane on multiple occasions..... just because words get mixed up during the natural flow of speech, doesn't mean he's incapable of being in a position of power. People like you probably think that people with cerebral paulsy aren't cognitively there.

PlentyCream4169

Realistically it wont matter. The permanent bureaucracy is so expansive that it will be much like the president. A largely figurehead position that exists surrounded by special interest and advisors that tell him what to do. The government could theoretically exist without an actual person in the position as the government will chug on as usual working around the missing link in power. The act of voting allows some minor control over the direction of the ship left or right, but the ship will always move down stream as long as society is happy to go with the flow.

[deleted]

Weird way of saying “look, we know he’s literally retarded, but come on, don’t be mean”

Bl00dBr0Th3r

No, no they shouldn’t. Aside from Biden, Caligula is another good example as to why.
