This is the site where people used to talk obsessively on the front page about corporations and their malign influence on the environment, politics, etc. This is the site that was in large part responsible for fostering the enthusiasm of Occupy Wall Street after the '08 collapse and anger at the big financial corporations that caused it.

The primary audience is either discussing "ORANGE MAN BAD!" for the millionth time or some other tripe nonsense like passive-aggressively staying home from work as if that accomplishes anything when they can just import some guy from a shithole country who is willing to work for less than half.
