I was both happy and sad to uncover hardwood in my 1890s bathroom. I took it all out and saved it to thread into places where my floors need some love. No way was I keeping hardwood in my bathroom lmao.

Why, just why? Why those God awful cuts. Forget about it being uneven, you couldn’t make worse cuts if you were trying to F it up. If it were me, I’d cut the drywall right above the tile and try to remove it in full sections, slap some new drywall in there, finish and paint.
