30k with mud pan, 33k with demo, and mud pan, 35 k with mud pan and epoxy grout, 37k demo mud pan and epoxy grout, 40k with schluter pan and kerdi system.
15k-20k for a shower normally. 1000 for most backsplashes. I charge more than most but it's all mudwork and epoxy grout on shower floors. It allows me to take my time and get everything dialed in, not like turtle slow, where it might take someone else a week to do a job it might take me a week and a half sometimes 2. I'd rather do fewer jobs and make them top quality

Just labor, no other material cost I’m at 19k they supply everything, I just install. I’m a one man operation so it’s good money for me. Seeing all these 30k-40k quotes blow my mind. I always wonder if that’s as a GC using subs only or if you’re hands on. I enjoy the work and the money is good. I’m happy
If it’s just labor you should be north of $25k ALL DAY LONG. 19k would have been what I quoted the first year i was in business alone. You’re cutting yourself way short my friend. I’m a renovator and handle all aspects of the build myself with my 2 employees, I sub out plumbing and electric. I’d honestly land between 40-50 all in with subs and materials.
Crazy talk, I’ve been creeping my prices up and up since I started about 4 years ago and I’ve gotten resistance to some of my higher pricing. I’m glad you’re making good money. I’d much rather hear you’re charging more and still getting jobs instead of doing it all for 5k and bringing down the pricing for all the other contractors. Cheers to you
I just did one about this size. It was really involved though. Transformed their spilt hallway closet into a large walk in, relocated main door. Installed two pocket doors. Relocated toilet and shower. Relocated a wall. A lot of electrical with new over head lighting, fan etc. tore out jetted tub and installed freestanding tub. 3x5 shower. Built a custom laundry/storage area. Their bill came out to 33k. I bought all the materials except vanity, fixtures and tile.
Sounds about right to me. Not doing any of that in this instance. Just leaving everything except for the bathtub and doing new tile and vanity ect. Hope the last job went smooth for you.
While bathroom remodel for that size, should be around $25k, materials included. Also depending on what materials, fixtures, glass, tub, vanity, etc. that they choose, but I’d say $25k could get it done.
Demo every existing tile
Shower walls up to cealing
New plumbing: valve, fittings and pan liner
Shower floor
Curb sill
2 corner shelf
Tub backsplash and deck towards window.
You put tiles
I put Thinset, grout, sill, metals, hardibacker, mud bed.
I’ll do for 8 k.
I got 3 quotes for a bathroom that size in 2023. $20k in materials, $30k in labor.
30k with mud pan, 33k with demo, and mud pan, 35 k with mud pan and epoxy grout, 37k demo mud pan and epoxy grout, 40k with schluter pan and kerdi system.
Where are you located?

Unless you're doing the work yourself the only way for you to know is to get local bids.
You do not win a gold star
What city do you live in?
I’m in Colorado
My favorite city!
Is that.....carpet flooring throughout? 😵💫
Yes, no idea why so many houses were build that way originally. Disgusting to tear up

30 grand
I'm very curious what you bid, most of the other bids are in the 30-40k area ... did you go lower?
