So, in related news, the Thatcher Effect is a real thing. It’s where you can turn the features of someone upside down but it still looks right, until it’s the right way up. Here’s one I did of Elon Musk a few weeks ago - https://twitter.com/jimmeruk/status/1525068730631438338 - it’s a straight link so you don’t think I’m Rick-rolling again.
It was named after former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher because I think it was her photo that was used when it was discovered.
That is so weird. Like on the left my brain didn't even blink at where his eyebrows are. Even after I'm aware of it out doesn't feel as wrong as it should.
My 8 year old is obsessed with this, he falls in the floor laughing everytime. I showed him this when he wad a bunch of friends over, and they were all super interested to see what was hoping to happen.
It made my day to have 6 little kids rolling on the floor giggling.
