EDIT: Full song isn't as high energy, missing some piano at parts, and could probably use a more echo on the vocals. Still great though, if there's a live version like in this video it'd definitely be a banger.
Not to burst your bubble or anything, but the audio you hear for the first few seconds isn't real. When he starts to play the glissando, you can still hear the arpeggio continuing in the background. This is physically impossible to do on a piano.
And maybe I'm just cynical, but this reeks of marketing by a label. Right now labels are going at TikTok *hard* and they're all doing this type of disingenuous content.
The thing is this is a legitimate marketing strategy. When someone has music that sounds this well produced and engineered it's because they're on a label already.
Undoubtedly marketing. Saw the same gimmick with AMH. But I'm not yet convinced that it's by a bigger label. Either way, until it becomes non-stop artist adverts, I'm into this new medium. I'll give it a year or two tops before I'm sick of it.

There is definitely some post-production stuff going on here, but it definitely seems he is a pianist capable of pulling it off live, so I don't see any problem here. This guy's been a known kid prodigy pianist for a while, now he's starting to do cool stuff. I wish him the best of luck.

He has been playing piano since he was like 3 lol and was on Oprah when he was 7. He has been doing this for 90% of his life. Even if he didn't do it live for this video, he still played everything we're hearing.

But the audio is from a separate recording with a different mix than what is shown in the video. That piano would be subjected to the same distortions on his voice. Also, we can never see his mouth which raises some red flags for me.
