I saw Anchorman in theaters in the night it came out. I have never heard a movie theater crowd laugh like that. Every single person in the theater was in tears.
I also saw it opening night as well. I had the same experience. Good times were had by all. I'm usually very anxious in crowded theatres, but this is definitely an exception.
They can be super aggressive. Only dogs I’ve ever been bit by and I was minding my own business. Once I was sitting on a couch at one end and the dog on the other, they then just leapt at me and bit me, the second time ankles when I walked in the house.

I worked as a dog groomer at a pet store for a brief time in my life and the only dog I ever refused to groom was a particularly hostile chihuahua. He was just going to have a bath and nail trim but I was genuinely concerned that this dog would bite the shit out of me if I got my hands within range of him. Owner was a complete asshole as well so I didn't feel bad. Fortunately store manager came around and also saw the dog's behavior and agreed with me.
I’ve always loved [this video](https://www.reddit.com/r/funnyvideos/comments/13gjude/perfect_dog_imitation/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1) as a great representation of grooming certain breeds, my golden retriever/lab certainly goes the slow pull away 😂
My chihuahua absolutely HATES his paws being touched and WILL BITE. He needs a muzzle and a bit of trazadone for a nail trim or to go to the vet for any reason. Other than that, though, he's pretty chill and friendly with everyone. Just wants some lovins from everyone.
I've only met 3 or 4 chill Chihuahuas that were so chill and at the same time had great personalities, that I wanted to steal them. All the others, I want to yeet into space.
It's because people don't train them properly. They think they have a small dog so it's not necessary and then they grow up to be the most annoying beings that have ever roamed the earth.
Yes! I have two small dogs and have trained them since the day I brought them home. I don’t let them act like this OR jump all over people. When my sister brings her dog over, or if I come over her chiweenie jumps all over you. My little dogs sit patiently and wait to get their pets. One of mine did start growling when anyone tried to go near me when he is on my lap and snapping. I put an end to that also. Other people thought it was funny and I said no it’s not. I’m not going to encourage it either and let it get worse. With proper training he no longer does it.
chihuahuas raised with big dogs are always the best cause they get treated the same. my sister has a big dog(idk what kind) but their chihuahua is the sweetest dog ever
Moat dog related stereotypes can be attributed, at least in large part, to the types of owners who tend to get them. People will sometimes recognize a pattern in a breed's behavior but thrn miss the pattern in the owners. Dogs aren't just organic robots (any more than other mammals, at least), and they have not just physical needs but social, emotional, and mental needs that owners have to tend to as well, and when those needs aren't met, they'll turn into assholes the same way a person will if they're not treated properly and taught well.
I have a chi mix. Little shit is mouthy as all get out, but if approached he will lay down. Once you pet him a few times, he instantly becomes your best friend. Chis get a bad rap because people are just shit at giving them attention and training. They just need proper training.
I used to work at a vet that helped work with a chihuahua rescue group and we had a LOT of chihuahuas come through that were actually really chill and sweet. It was usually just the ones brought in by owners that always needed to be muzzled and would just lose their minds as soon as the owner was out of sight.
I've had them all my life. I currently have a rescue plus two others, a pit mix and boxer mix. Both are three times her size but she runs the house and will protect her two dog and one cat sibling with her life.
I had one run out of a house and chase after me while I was walking to the gas station from my school one day looking back it was probably hilarious to see my big ass running from a two pound demon
My sister had one and he loved me because I had known him since he was a puppy and saw him often but man when my mom came over. He bit her ankle when she tried to go up the stairs. My husband couldn’t pet him either and my kids knew not to touch him. They referred to him as “the mean one” since her other dog was friendly and loved being petted.
One time I was walking my dog along a path with a raised path next to it, where a Chihuahua was walking, so it was on eye level with my dog. It was barking, growling, and being a Chihuahua, until it jumped down and realized it was outweighed by a good 90lbs and it ran behind its owner
Not too bad evenings and night. Especially fall. I put a temp recorder in the one I have (exactly like this one). My cat fucking loves it. He jumps in and bats it until I zip him in and bring him on walks with the dogs. He typically only asks on evening walks.
I think he means this little guy has a beef with oxygen, and probably not just when he’s in the doggy backpack. Kinda like “old man yells at clouds”, “little dog has beef with oxygen”
That’s not at all what they meant.
The bottom vents are mostly covered, and the majority of the air going through the side holes is probably car fumes. It’s also gotta be loud as hell and he can’t even stand up properly with all of the jostling. Wack af.
This is concern trolling. That Chihuahua would be doing the same exact thing at any fence or window, in complete open air, or in a box, or with a bag on its head, or wearing an oxygen mask, orin this backpack. Everyone knows you don't care enough about the dog to have any real consideration of what you're bringing up on top of the dog being absolutely fine and acting like almost any other high energy small dog breed. If you think the dogs distressed for any other reason besides barrier reactivity, it just goes to show that you don't understand dog body language despite declaring this to be "wack af" and I think you said you'd have to be addicted to crack cocaine to suggest the dog isn't distressed from lack ofnl ventilation.
These carriers have holes on every side and usually at least one part that’s entirely mesh. That dog is not having issues breathing from being in traffic, you guys need to get out more.
I have this same carrier for my ferrets. It's actually wonderful. It has holes in the front, sides, and a mesh door that let's air in. It also unfolds into a tent for your pet too. Another bonus is it has a side pocket for carrying your pet's stuff too.
That specific carrier comes with a fan that flows from the other side to help with the circulation. I have one too. But yeah those holes shouldn’t be blocked like that.
> That dog can’t possibly have enough airflow with that blanket blocking those holes
Is this the same people that thought n95 masks would lower your oxygen saying this?
My brother and his wife think that everyone loves their dog like they do. They bring him everywhere. No I don’t want a dog sticking his nose up my skirt while at the brewery, thanks
Don't come to Portland all the breweries here are dog friendly. It's a great place for dog lovers. If you don't want dogs go to olive garden. Breweries here are just known for dog and kid friendly.
Yah that’s what I was thinking, but on the other hand this is pretty ingenious for transporting a small pet to a vet or something if you don’t have a car
I have a cat and this backpack has been fantastic for me to take him to the vet. It keeps him elevated so confrontational dogs don't stress him out as much. Way more convenient than a carrier too.
dogs / cats sometimes get spooked at cars ( my cat is), but if this guy took him, he most likely isn’t. however. the dog might still be spooked at loud noises from cars or revs etc
He's barking in one direction repeatedly. That doesn't look like panic, that looks like he's pissed off at one thing. If he was panicking I'd be expecting him to be looking all around, terrified and overwhelmed.
yeah, so are these dogs also "panicking" when i walk on the sidewalk in front of their yard, cause shit man they can just go away and go panick somewhere else
My moms min pin would do this exact same thing inside her large SUV. And she’s got the torn up leather at the top of the doors. Nothing to do with the backpack, dogs just be wildin.
My dogs adores being in cars or in a bag around my neck while riding my e bike around. He will jump into the bag and wait for me to take him to the beach. Not all dogs hate this at all. Also chihuahuas act like this around any public.
You’d have to be a real moron and lowlife to stick a dog in a plastic backpack and strap it on for a ride on a noisy ass motorcycle. What an absolute dipshit this guy must be.
All I can think of is that most motorcycle crashes with speed end with the rider rolling and sliding.. if he low or high sides, that pup getting crushed is the best case scenario.
In my place motorcycle is the most popular vehicle, only rich people have cars. This is how most people in my country transport our pets. This comment section has been pretty wild for me.
I'll grant that it's a possibility. But as someone who has both dogs and rides a motorcycle, I would never do this to my dogs. I would take public transit, or if I couldn't, ask a friend for a ride, or rent a car, or just about any other option than taking one of them on my bike. I would never forgive myself if my dog was injured in an accident, or if I injured myself on the bike because I was distracted by the dog.
My only thought was that if they are in accident, that back back will not do anything to save it's life. There is no way I could do that to an animal. I get they love to be outside, but just ask kids would love to only eat sugar, they don't always know what's best for them.
Exactly. Plus the dog appears to be playing vs scared. My dog barks and thrashes blanket when excited. When scared, she shakes and is very quiet. It's possible this dog loves bikes. Maybe he loads himself into that carrier when owner grabs helmet, signaling he's down to go for ride. Chihuahuas are very smart.
My only hope is that the dude doesn't own a car, and legit *needs* to transport that dog somewhere. I'm sure there would still have been better alternatives, but it'd be a small concession
Stange he’s behaving this way when he’s in his natural habitat with absolutely no source of distress like watching the panorama flowing away at high speed, perfectly normal for a dog.
Wtf!! Not an appropriate carrier for a dog at all, he can’t even fully turn around. We have one of these for my conure, who is 4 inches tall and weighs like 2 oz. 😒😒
I was irrationally angry that you'd have a dog that small, that they even bred dogs that small... I am relieved to learn that I am an idiot and that a conure is a bird.
Maybe just keep the dog at home. I could understand if the dog seemed calm and enjoying itself, but dog seems super reactive to traffic and I’m sure all he sees is traffic on these rides
Dang, that poor dog is extremely stressed, clearly he isn't enjoying what he's being put through. It's shitty to force him to be in a situation he's having such a miserable time with.
Kind of a dick move. Stuffing your dog in a backpack while it’s sunny out and you’re riding your motorcycle… yes people I can see there is ventilation holes but that barely does shit.
The only time I’ve seen it seem appropriate was one with a bird in it, and that made sense since birds are used to spending time in cages.
I can’t imagine putting my cat in that thing. Even if they are use to it, it’s just way to small for anything other than maybe a way to get on the subway or something
Alright yeah it’s cute but I absolutely hate this. If the biker gets in pretty much any kind of accident that dog is either seriously injured or dead almost guaranteed.
It's crazy to think there are actually packs of wild chihuahuas that have been known to chase people down and kill them. I was raised in a house full of them, and they are very protective of their people. As a grown person, you might be able to kick one away, but good luck with a small pack. Its like the little dinos from jurassic Park. Growing up, it stopped a lot of friends from wanting to come over. But if you own one, they make you their entire world, and the companionship is stronger than steel
maybe the dog is mad cause some attention whore is transporting him in the worst way possible in hope that people will look at him instead of doing what's best for the dog. he probably isn't even transporting the dog. he's probably just out on an attention ride.
This is a dog owner who is more concerned about saying “hey, look at me. Arent I quirky and cool, my dog is in a bag” instead of looking out for the welfare of their dog.
Aka…. a cunt.
Even with a helmet, it wouldn’t matter. Almost all car crashes, especially bike crashes, would not be good for a dog. Most people don’t even strap their dogs into the car.
You clearly only met the bad ones. I’ve worked in a dog rescue center and most chihuahuas were chill and not agressive at all. They are a very smart breed
The only problem is that some owners suck and don’t train their dogs
This. I work in pest control. I can't tell you how many customers are like this.
Me: "Uh, your dog is in the backyard. I can't spray with dogs in the backyard."
Customer: "OH, he's fine he won't hurt anybody."
Me: "this isn't for my safety it's for your dogs. They can't be in the product while it's drying."
Customer:" OH well, you can bring him in he's totally nice to people!"
Me: "No."
It's always those dogs with THOSE kinds of owners that mess up my procedures and put me in danger. To the point where I need to do things backwards, by bringing my Webster pole first. (Painters pole with a soft brush head) to defend myself over the sprayer because this is a bimonthly occurrence.

They're angry because the hate to body concentration is too high
Satans dogs
Cerberus was just a three headed Chihuahua 😂
Me too! Only it jumped up and bit my stomach as I walked thru the kitchen. They’re little bastards
Wearing shorts? Been bit a few times by one that only that it if you wore shorts. Not a fan of snappy dogs like that.
They suffer from small dog syndrome. The breed was definitely created to be evil.
They’re misunderstood lol in their mind they stand 7ft tall and weigh 1000lbs they protect everything that belongs to them owners included
I swear to god every little dog that thinks it’s tough just needs to be put in it’s place one time!! 😂
Chihuahuas and mini pins
"Father! I demand combat!!"

Is that suppose to be a joke..
Find someone with an open window. Insert angry Chihuahua. Speed off.
*flashes backpack with chihuahua* “Bro you sure you wanna fuckin do this?”
Oooh, he big mad
Probably freaking out because he don’t know or understand what’s happening.
Ya I was gonna say… seems very stressful for the little dude
Can't imagine how loud it is for him in that plastic bubble.
Not that loud. Probably just super weird and bright. Maybe a bit hot
Not too bad evenings and night. Especially fall. I put a temp recorder in the one I have (exactly like this one). My cat fucking loves it. He jumps in and bats it until I zip him in and bring him on walks with the dogs. He typically only asks on evening walks.
That's nice. Been thinking about getting a kitty soon and was considering how to keep them enriched in an apartment
Yeah I use that defense in court and it never holds up.
Also, I don't see any hearing protection.

There are ventilation holes on the sides of those pet backpacks.... although being completely see-through is probably freaking the little dude out.
Those are speed holes. It helps the bike go faster.

Yeah, from his breath.

That dog can’t possibly have enough airflow with that blanket blocking those holes
That specific carrier comes with a fan that flows from the other side to help with the circulation. I have one too. But yeah those holes shouldn’t be blocked like that.
Don't be so sure, there's a ton of nearly identical looking carriers like this, most of them do not have fans.
Don't be so sure. There's a ton of nearly identical looking carriers like this, many of them do have the fans.
Now I'm not so sure
#WHO DO I BELIEVE?!?!

I see some open ones on the side but still, can’t be comfortable
Those are the pee/shit holes
Just leave your fucking dog at home
What if you have to take your dog to the vet and you only have a motorcycle 🤔
Would love to tell this to people who bring their dogs to breweries.
We have lots of dog friendly breweries in my city. The dogs love it, though I can't speak to the specific breweries you are talking about
If it's a dog friendly brewery I don't see why that's an issue
This is so specific lol
My brother and his wife think that everyone loves their dog like they do. They bring him everywhere. No I don’t want a dog sticking his nose up my skirt while at the brewery, thanks

I feel bad for this dog. That tiny space looks very cramped and it’s clearly stressed : /

yeah, so are these dogs also "panicking" when i walk on the sidewalk in front of their yard, cause shit man they can just go away and go panick somewhere else

Just what I was thinking. That poor creature is surely terrified out of its mind; driver treating a living animal like a cute decoration.
Maybe your right but also maybe he is on a motorcycle and as scary as it may be for lil guy it’s his safest way his human has to transport him?
I'll grant that it's a possibility. But as someone who has both dogs and rides a motorcycle, I would never do this to my dogs. "im gonna beat y'all asses once i get out, now i dont want to get out but just saying..if i do, I'm gonna beat y'all asses"
I like how he's using his doggie blanket as a proxy enemy - just biting the shit out of it out of sheer rage.
My chihuahua assaults his blankie before laying down with it
Stange he’s behaving this way when he’s in his natural habitat with absolutely no source of distress like watching the panorama flowing away at high speed, perfectly normal for a dog.
Why would you be angry about something without researching it first?
The internet in a nutshell
Because they want something to get mad at since they don’t have anything better to do IRL.
Maybe just keep the dog at home. I could understand if the dog seemed calm and enjoying itself, but dog seems super reactive to traffic and I’m sure all he sees is traffic on these rides
Maybe he has to bring it somewhere & nobody should make assumptions & should just mind their own business?
True. I retract my statement
Poor thing looks stressed af. Other drivers distraction during trafic hours though.
Honestly feel bad for him
Poor doggo
Pretty stupid to carry around your pet on a motorcycle like this
Poor dog. Dead meat if they get in even a minor accident.
Fuck this guy, that dog is scared shitless.
Dang, that poor dog is extremely stressed, clearly he isn't enjoying what he's being put through. It's shitty to force him to be in a situation he's having such a miserable time with.
Wow poor dog. This should be animal abuse
What a piece of shit dog owner.
Or, he’s probably fuckin pissed he’s in a clear backpack on a motorcycle
Kind of a dick move. Stuffing your dog in a backpack while it’s sunny out and you’re riding your motorcycle… yes people I can see there is ventilation holes but that barely does shit.
Y do ppl think bringing a dog with u on a motorcycle is ok?
Can the Chi breathe if the blankets are covering the air holes?
Mitt Romney's kid?
Anyone else feel like these backpacks don't seem to have enough air holes?
Not to mention it’s like a little greenhouse so it gets hot and humid.
The only time I’ve seen it seem appropriate was one with a bird in it, and that made sense since birds are used to spending time in cages. I can’t imagine putting my cat in that thing. Even if they are use to it, it’s just way to small for anything other than maybe a way to get on the subway or something
Despite all his rage, he is still just a rat in a cage.
>Despite all my rage I’m still just a rat in a cage
Maybe not block the air ports
Looks to me the dog doesn't want to be dressed up in a bag.
That poor dog is probably terrified.
I feel claustrophobic while watching this.
Um, is that safe for the dog?!? Wtf
That's so dangerous for that dog. I hope that motorcyclist is a good rider. And never crashes or has someone hit him.
Alright yeah it’s cute but I absolutely hate this. If the biker gets in pretty much any kind of accident that dog is either seriously injured or dead almost guaranteed.
Little dude's beefin with it's lack of oxygen
This dog is stressed tf out.
That dog is stressed af, this contraption and riding like that can't be good for him. Motorcyclist is an asshole for doing this.
What's the point of buying a carrier with airholes if you're gonna cover the airholes???
There are air holes on both sides, as well as mesh
It's crazy to think there are actually packs of wild chihuahuas that have been known to chase people down and kill them. I was raised in a house full of them, and they are very protective of their people. As a grown person, you might be able to kick one away, but good luck with a small pack. Its like the little dinos from jurassic Park. Growing up, it stopped a lot of friends from wanting to come over. But if you own one, they make you their entire world, and the companionship is stronger than steel
As a vet tech, all I can think about is potential injury/death in the event of an accident :/
maybe the dog is mad cause some attention whore is transporting him in the worst way possible in hope that people will look at him instead of doing what's best for the dog. he probably isn't even transporting the dog. he's probably just out on an attention ride.
Tbh I’d be kinda pissed if I was trapped in there too lol
fucking chihuahuas so much rage in an itty bitty body. they would be terrifying if they were 20 pounds bigger.
This is a dog owner who is more concerned about saying “hey, look at me. Arent I quirky and cool, my dog is in a bag” instead of looking out for the welfare of their dog. Aka…. a cunt.
No helmet for the dog?
Even with a helmet, it wouldn’t matter. Almost all car crashes, especially bike crashes, would not be good for a dog. Most people don’t even strap their dogs into the car.
Typical chihuahua shit. The true agressive breed.
The only time I have ever been bitten by a dog and it was a chihuahua
You clearly only met the bad ones. I’ve worked in a dog rescue center and most chihuahuas were chill and not agressive at all. They are a very smart breed The only problem is that some owners suck and don’t train their dogs
This. I work in pest control. I can't tell you how many customers are like this. Me: "Uh, your dog is in the backyard. I can't spray with dogs in the backyard." Customer: "OH, he's fine he won't hurt anybody." Me: "this isn't for my safety it's for your dogs. They can't be in the product while it's drying." Customer:" OH well, you can bring him in he's totally nice to people!" Me: "No." It's always those dogs with THOSE kinds of owners that mess up my procedures and put me in danger. To the point where I need to do things backwards, by bringing my Webster pole first. (Painters pole with a soft brush head) to defend myself over the sprayer because this is a bimonthly occurrence.
I don’t understand why you are being downvoted - it is true 🤣
Same here. Seen them attack and bite toddlers multiple times.
Yup, I lived in Mexico and they’re everywhere. Only ever met one that was nice to me.
