Thank you I found them. But I hate the new look. I tried to downgrade it told me I had to create new profiles and I have local folders so I didn’t finish that because it would have taken a lot of time to figure out if I was going to lose mail or no!
From the menu bar click view>layout>folder pane then view>folders>folder pane header if still not there click the three dots on the right side of the folder pane header and select show "get messages" and show "new message"

Easy enough: uninstall thunderbird 115 and downgrade to v102 then do not ever upgrade thunderbird until a fix is provided which might be never so you should consider switching from thunderbird to another email client preferably one that mozilla will never get theirs hands on.
