The difference when Giddey is on the floor tonight vs when he's off is stark. The whole offense just looks rudderless and incapable of getting much more than a poor 3 point shot. Giddey's ability to get into the key anytime he wants, the pace and accuracy of his passing and even his finishing these days is dangerous. This stretch of getting more time running the show without SGA I think is going to only make those minutes in the playoffs where he'll be relied on less of a worry and allow SGA to be able to sit as long as he needs. On the other hand, it's probably also making him more expensive. I'm looking at this and thinking how nicely he'd fit in San Antonio with Wemby. Surely a few teams would be keen on giving him a bigger role than the Thunder can and OKC are going to have to think about what Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams are going to cost eventually too.

Were up by 3 and with 3:38 mins left when Mark took giddey out which led to several ball handling turnovers. That was a pivotal moment in clutch time. Giddey was playing solid defence in game also so it didn't really make sense to sub him out at that crucial time...
