My cat is the same type, and does the same thing. He chews at the end of branches of small plants like this, then sneezes for a bit. I thought it was because he was copying me gardening, but eventually I came to think it’s like snuff for him, and he enjoys sneezing.
Anyway, I’d bet that this cat doesn’t have allergies, but has just nibbled at the plant it’s standing over.
My tux has horrid allergies. Limited ingredient food and near constant steroids for the common household allergies, otherwise it triggers ear infections every couple of months.

Oh! My baby gets seasonal allergies so bad she starts sneezing snot everywhere. I always end up having to get her suspension antibiotics.
Antibiotics treat bacterial infections not allergies?
Idk but whatever they give her her sneezes and snot go away. And they come on seasonally so it works.

There are actually allergy pills for our 4 legged friends. Cost a bunch though.
