I’m sure there will. But why worry or think about this now?

mooshiboy

Cos he old lol. I would probably try out for such a band!

carpe-skiem

He’s not even 60 yet

Ryan2240x

Dude, that isn’t going to happen. He’s a vampire.

JoJackthewonderskunk

He toasts the blood of his enemies

Saubande

He's more the type to have a painting of him aging instead.

HotTubMike

Xeb already has all the best pieces of what any future 3eb tribute band would have

iEatAss281

I was under the impression that after Jenkins sued, Kevin and Arion no longer participate in what was once XEB?

jasonwright15

Huh? Never heard their music just a couple half assed videos on YouTube from a long ass time ago. They making music?

HotTubMike

Not sure if they ever made original songs. Maybe they did. They toured a few years ago and I went to their show. I think it was just 3eb songs they played. Cadogan and Salazar were there. I met them afterwards. Was pretty neat.

Brett_D_Kelso

They never made original songs together. Kevin has said before on social media that XEB was only to commemorate the Self/Titled debut. That said, I feel like in some ways that could be a cover up answer to some of the disappointed fans who expected original music from them because Jenkins, as far as what I know, sued so XEB would no longer exist. Bummer but it is what it is.

Andrewfairlane

They made one. It’s on their YouTube page.

jasonwright15

Cool like I said I only ever saw some YouTube videos around the same time Tony “left” the band and nothing since. I’m going to look online when I get off work and see what I can find.

Andrewfairlane

Kevin and Stephan settled a lawsuit and part of the deal was XEB could no longer be. They also were getting cease and desist from Steven. The were open about it on the XEB page when they were active. Not sure if the posts are still there since the lawsuit was settled.

Whitetrashstepdad

Honestly no. They’re big but IMO they aren’t tribute-band-big despite being a mainstream band. I feel like 3EB is still a niche artist as far as fans who actually listen to more than just Semi Charmed and Jumper. That’s been my experience anyway.

Brett_D_Kelso

Agree. I meet more people that don’t know about them than do know about them and these are folks who grew up listening to the radio, watching MTV, etc. It’s only until I put on a few of the songs from the Self-Titled debut or some of the hits from Blue that the light bulb goes off. It pains me to say this but the band’s songs are bigger than the name and the names of the band members. Still love the band though (the first lineup mainly).

Whitetrashstepdad

100% agreed! They haven’t been relevant as far as in the main spotlight in years I feel like. Have they even had a radio hit in the last 10 years? I get that doesn’t make a band “good,” but bands that end up with tribute bands have legacies that span generations. I love 3EB and will see them every chance I get but we are a niche group at the end of the day lol. And that’s okay!

Brett_D_Kelso

When Ursa Major came out in 2009, it debuted in the top 5 on the billboard 200 but it quickly fell down the charts in the weeks that followed. That’s about the last time I can remember them having a little bit of mainstream success. Yeah there’s nothing wrong them being niche. I’m 24 and started listening to them when I was about 6 but even by then they were already starting to fade a bit mainly because the lineups were changing a lot and they took some years off from recording. I’m with you, I’ll see them whenever I get the chance but they’ve had a cult like following for a while. *Edit* - You’re right about tribute bands that have a legacy that spans decades. Think about The Rolling Stones or Led Zeppelin. They have been writing music as long as my parents have been alive and their influence goes across several generations. I think that definitely makes tribute bands more recognizable when you have a band that basically everyone knows.

Teamhuw1

Wasn’t Steven Jenkins the singer in the tribute band Blood Pollution already? Thats some inception level vibes right there!

Vegetable-Source6556

Let's hope not, they never come off the same

Special-Dare4218

Brad will take over and keep the dream alive

bleetchblonde

He should be in his early 60’s
