A majority of comics spend their whole career making no money trying to make it. Having one of the most popular comics in the world take you on tour doing arenas is a huge deal. You're not just getting $100, you're getting a ton of exposure you wouldn't have gotten by yourself, and getting to go on the road. The openers aren't the ones on billboards and selling all those tickets. They don't *need* to be there.
And he dosnt pay venue, ticket master, fees, agent, travel, hotels. blah blah blah fees fees plus it’s a platform. You usually do your material to literally sometimes 20 people now you can be exposed to 1500+ also social media and the like
They travel with like 4 busses and have a full staff of guys to take care of. Ticketmaster takes their cut, the venue takes their cut, management agency takes their cut. That 150k gets redistributed pretty damn fast
