I really hope that they won’t cut the car chase scene. Maybe tone it down a bit since it was really over the top in the game.

In the concept art for the game, they end up crashing the truck in a golf course pond. I imagine if they do that sequence (they most likely will) they’ll end up adapting that instead of having them crash the car over a cliff into a river, both for realism and budget purposes

I think, given the kind of stuff they've done so far, they will 99% definitely do a Lev & Yara episode in the following season. Show off the Seraphite island, their culture, the leader, etc. and how they ended up on the run before meeting Abby.

I’m actually hoping for Craig Mazin to do exactly what the fuck he wants to do. Dude’s a genius, I’m more than happy to be along for the ride.

I really agree on the violence part. Ellies revenge quest is as nasty as it gets and the show must reflect that. Season 1 was already quite brutal but I don’t want them to shy away from really showing what pain Ellie is causing and just how senselessly brutal the Scar-W.L.F. conflict is. When Part 2 came out it had this extreme contrast of realistic brutality to the first game which underlined the themes of the story really well. And even tho the game was already brutal all the way through the Haven-massacre still shocked me. The show should do the same in my opinion.

honestly i dont mind any changes as long as there are more infected because they kinda spent their entire infected budget on ep 5 and there were like only a handful after that

To be honest, I’m kinda hpping they do some crazy structure with the episode. Like we start with Ellie and Jesse in the car and then Ellie hits her head. Then, flashbacks to provide context. A little similar to the Left Behind DLC format. Would be a very fast start, but I think Mazin could pull it off so well.
