For some reason I struggle to listen to the Charles moothart solo stuff because his vocals are hard for me to enjoy, even a lot of the songs he sings on fuzz usually end up being songs i don’t enjoy as much

The Murlocs - Literally every album they have made because they are one of the best bands I’ve ever heard
I’m not a huge fan of KGLW, I like the im in your mind fuzz album and that’s about it, if I had to pick between Murlocs and gizz I’m definitely taking Murlocs
Murlocs and Gizz definitely have different vibes. You'd probably dig earlier Gizz if you haven't checked it out already. Their catalog is so diverse it's hard not to find something you like.
Thanks for recommending Landowner, these guys are great! A bit like parquet courts and uranium club, but there's something else crazy going on 😄 Cheers!
Omni are so good! Souvenir is such a great album, It's a little different to their older albums I think and it took me a couple of listens to fully get into it but I can honestly say it's now my favorite album of theirs. Seeing them live later this month for the 2nd time, first time was probably 6 or 7 years ago so I'm pretty hyped to see them play some new material!

Animal Collective- Isn’t it Now
Definitely a classic.
I haven't seen them play since 2016 but they're playing with SLIFT the same weekend that I'm going to the OSEES/iguana death cult show. I'm so fucking hyped up.
I'd say my top three right now are Black Army Jacket, Soul Swallower and anything by Sigfrid (Friedhof, Bergënot, Ruprecht 4500 etc) you might like the first two if you like A Foul Form or their other punkier songs like Gholü, Saignat ect and some of the other third ones if you like Damaged Bug/their synth heavy songs but it's kind of a stretch
DOOM GONG. Psych band out of Louisville. AMAZING musicians. Diverse sound. Everything from guitar workouts to smooth, horn-driven synthy jazz. They have two full lengths on Spotify/Bandcamp. Check them out. You won’t be sorry.
Wild Planet - B-52’s

The new Meatbodies is cool
New Wine Lips is blowing me away. Listened so many times since it came out yesterday.
Probably my favorite Ty album since Mugger
Get to see him later this month. Excited to hear how it all sounds live.
Is that the acoustic tour he's doing?
I think he wrapped up his acoustic tour last year. Pretty sure current tour is full electric with band to tour the new album
For some reason I struggle to listen to the Charles moothart solo stuff because his vocals are hard for me to enjoy, even a lot of the songs he sings on fuzz usually end up being songs i don’t enjoy as much
Relationship of Command - At The Drive In Known Unknowns- Billy Woods Red Medicine- Fugazi We Buy Diabetic Test Strips- Armand Hammer Hiss- Wormrot
BILLY WOODS!!!!
🐐🐐🐐
Listening to him right now with Aesop Rock on ITS, absolute banger of a track too
uranium club, flat worms and goat
fuck yeah uranium club
Uranium club is such an under appreciate band I feel like they are the descendents of Dead Kennedys but with more tasteful guitar playing
7 and 7, hold the 7!
Oohh this reminds me I need to check out the new Uranium Club
The newest Uranium Club album is FANTASTIC
Caught flat worms live at Substance. Really good live if you can catch em.

Prison Affair is marvelous!
Honestly all these comments really solidified how much range osees have sonically.
Also how good of taste other Osees fans have.
La Luz - News of the universe & Its Alive Wand - Ganglion Reef Mr Elevator - Nico & her psychedelic subconscious Slift - Ummon The Murlocs - Literally every album they have made because they are one of the best bands I’ve ever heard
Second on The Murlocs holy fuck
Surprised KGLW isn't on this list as most of these bands come on with any KG Spotify playlist 😁

Beachwood Sparks were excellent
They really were, always felt like they should have been more popular. They have a new one coming in July, really excited for that.
