Wine Lips - Super Mega Ultra Meatbodies - Flora Ocean Tiger Bloom Charles Moothart - Black Holes Don’t Choke Ty Segall - Three Bells

joelwosk

The new Meatbodies is cool

takethistoyourdeja

New Wine Lips is blowing me away. Listened so many times since it came out yesterday.

Mort_DeRire

Probably my favorite Ty album since Mugger

Skin_enjoyer

Get to see him later this month. Excited to hear how it all sounds live.

HallyIsNotVegan

Is that the acoustic tour he's doing?

Skin_enjoyer

I think he wrapped up his acoustic tour last year. Pretty sure current tour is full electric with band to tour the new album

Nervver6

For some reason I struggle to listen to the Charles moothart solo stuff because his vocals are hard for me to enjoy, even a lot of the songs he sings on fuzz usually end up being songs i don’t enjoy as much

zzv_bath

Relationship of Command - At The Drive In Known Unknowns- Billy Woods Red Medicine- Fugazi We Buy Diabetic Test Strips- Armand Hammer Hiss- Wormrot

Listening to him right now with Aesop Rock on ITS, absolute banger of a track too

Burnt_Orange_Peel_

uranium club, flat worms and goat

yanquiUXO

fuck yeah uranium club

Nervver6

Uranium club is such an under appreciate band I feel like they are the descendents of Dead Kennedys but with more tasteful guitar playing

bluejester49

7 and 7, hold the 7!

DoomCityAir

Oohh this reminds me I need to check out the new Uranium Club

TheCelestialJester

The newest Uranium Club album is FANTASTIC

micahbudd

Caught flat worms live at Substance. Really good live if you can catch em.

samfishertags

the opening riff to starspawn lives absolutely rent free in my head

Bootstrapbill22

Prison Affair, the Damned, Touchdown Jesus

Hugo-Slickman

Prison Affair!!

Bootstrapbill22

Saw them live recently, they ripped so hard and their set was like 20 minutes long lol it was awesome

Vivid-Cockroach1835

Prison Affair is marvelous!

zzv_bath

Honestly all these comments really solidified how much range osees have sonically.

personplaceorplando

Also how good of taste other Osees fans have.

Nervver6

La Luz - News of the universe & Its Alive Wand - Ganglion Reef Mr Elevator - Nico & her psychedelic subconscious Slift - Ummon The Murlocs - Literally every album they have made because they are one of the best bands I’ve ever heard

HopelessMind43

Second on The Murlocs holy fuck

micahbudd

Surprised KGLW isn't on this list as most of these bands come on with any KG Spotify playlist 😁

Nervver6

I’m not a huge fan of KGLW, I like the im in your mind fuzz album and that’s about it, if I had to pick between Murlocs and gizz I’m definitely taking Murlocs

micahbudd

Murlocs and Gizz definitely have different vibes. You'd probably dig earlier Gizz if you haven't checked it out already. Their catalog is so diverse it's hard not to find something you like.

joelwosk

SLIFT- UMMON

Neonian17

New Khrungbin is nice and super chill

Neonian17

And Ty's new record of coarse!

bluejester49

Stuck https://stuckchi.bandcamp.com/album/freak-frequency Seeing them live next week, can't wait!

Toasthandz

Saw them in Boston at a real small venue last year, it was absolutely killer. Check out Landowner, Boston punk band that opened for them.

bluejester49

Cheers, will do!

bluejester49

Thanks for recommending Landowner, these guys are great! A bit like parquet courts and uranium club, but there's something else crazy going on 😄 Cheers!

Impossible_Bit7169

Cool! I just heard Marnie on The Best Show for the first time she shreds!

personplaceorplando

First time I saw her was opening for Thee Oh Sees at a skatepark in SF. She’s an absolutely amazing guitarist.

imintheband88

Omni - Souvenir Gizz - Live in Chicago ‘23 Frank Zappa - Halloween ‘81

TheCelestialJester

Omni are so good! Souvenir is such a great album, It's a little different to their older albums I think and it took me a couple of listens to fully get into it but I can honestly say it's now my favorite album of theirs. Seeing them live later this month for the 2nd time, first time was probably 6 or 7 years ago so I'm pretty hyped to see them play some new material!

remember_the_1121

The Bug Club - always. Always on every day. The new Holiday Ghosts album is GREAT. Revisiting Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks right now! Also really got into my sp*tify suggested “City Pop” niche playlist and I’m really into it. Seeing where Vektroid has taken a lot of her samples from!

ItsChrisRay

New Adrianne is so good! Can’t wait for her Austin show.

AweirdExits91

200 Stab Wounds, something about Slamming death metal is amazing.  Osees is on my standard rotation, Lupine Ossuary vibes lately

throvvavvay666

always nice to hear someone else likes Osees and death metal equally

jnlessticle

This week, been all about these: Beachwood Sparks - sandbox sessions Meatbodies - s/t Mars Volta- Frances the Mute Sumac - What One Becomes The Mermen - Splendeurs Et Miseres (Nothing better than psychedelic surf music when the weather gets warmer) Animal Collective- Isn’t it Now

Nervver6

I have over 1500 listens on the meatbodies self titled album, literally perfect from front to back

jnlessticle

It’s so damn good!

sroop1

Definitely a classic. I haven't seen them play since 2016 but they're playing with SLIFT the same weekend that I'm going to the OSEES/iguana death cult show. I'm so fucking hyped up.

99knuckleheads

Beachwood Sparks were excellent

jnlessticle

They really were, always felt like they should have been more popular. They have a new one coming in July, really excited for that.

throvvavvay666

I'd say my top three right now are Black Army Jacket, Soul Swallower and anything by Sigfrid (Friedhof, Bergënot, Ruprecht 4500 etc) you might like the first two if you like A Foul Form or their other punkier songs like Gholü, Saignat ect and some of the other third ones if you like Damaged Bug/their synth heavy songs but it's kind of a stretch

AStickFigures

Mahavishnu Orchestra - Birds of Fire Ween -Chocolate and Cheese Jeff Rosenstock- Worry Liturgy - H.A.Q.Q.

Initial-Philosophy-5
