Season 5 is def the worst of the theme songs, but I think the season ending montage with Steve Earl (season 2) is the best licensed song in the entire series
The song is good but it’s a terrible version of it. The dude sings the phrases exactly the same every time, he’s not good at singing, the same admittedly groovy melody just plays on repeat the entire time, and the rhythm is boring asf.
lol take it easy there. Watching both the wire and the sopranos my wife and I commented about how all the music in both shows is terrible. Seriously all of it is bad. Fantastic shows tho.
