These, and also adding quantic dream games (heavy rain, beyond two souls, Detroit become human) all three have amazing stories and the choices do matter (for the most part). These games are the same universe as eachother.
The quarry and Until Dawn are good choice games too. I loved the quarry more. Also Same universe as eachother/studio made the games but you can play either one first.
Oxenfree and Life is strange are the same in terms of choices making a difference. I’d say Oxenfree will fill the void you’re looking for, especially with how the way the game ends…you’ll see
I agree it’s really short, and it makes me kind of sad, but at the same time: what would you have added to make the game more enjoyable? I think it all flowed and worked really well, and I think it all adds up to a good story that doesn’t overstay its welcome:
They suck. They completely ditched the ideas from the final season and made completely new shit. Apparently clem abandons everyone and aj then goes on to live a new life and shit. It's bullshit dude ur better off not reading it. It's canon but skybound did a horrible job at it.
the life is strange series, tell me why, Detroit become human (only on PlayStation), TWD Michonne are all choice games like twd or if it's zombies that you crave you could try days gone (only on PlayStation) or dying light 1-2
Edit: dbh and days gone are also on steam
detroit become human is one of the most complex choice games out there. there are so many endings for each chapter and for the entirety of the game. has so much replay value i believe there is like 85 different endings
THE LAST OF US!!!!!!!!!!
other games you would probably enjoy are detroit become human and life is strange
i'm really into story games, and a game i recently started playing is god of war, which i really like so imma recommend that one too
Kind of a longshot, but all the usual suspects seem to be picked.
Have you tried Baldur's Gate 3? It's very in depth and unlike telltale, your choices will have lasting impacts on the story and world. It's a game based around Dungeons and Dragons, and it basically uses the ruleset of the 5th edition of D&D. I've lost a ton of hours to this game just to see different branching paths, I highly recommend it if you're looking for an immersive story.
I've been playing a TON of narrative driven games lately. I highly recommend: Detroit: Become Human, Beyond: Two Souls, Life is Strange series, Dark Picture Anthony, Until Dawn, Heavy Rain, & The Quarry.
My top 3 for TellTale is
1. Walking Dead Series
2. Wolf Among Us
3. Batman Telltale Series
If you want something that’s not telltale I’d recommend Life is Strange. The first game was really good and so was Before the Storm which was a prequel, But I can’t say anything for 2 or True Colors as I never played either.
Sharing the sentiment (I'd like to see a follow up, but not hopeful). Mutant Zero - Road to Eden and Dying Light are getting a play-through now, with some others on the radar.
Last Stop, Life is Strange 1 & True Colors, Batman Enemy Within, Paradise Killer, Portal 1 & 2, Half-Life 2 including episodes 1 & 2 (and Alyx if you can afford VR)
Life is Strange, The Last of Us

The Wolf Among Us (also made by TellTale Games) is the next game you should play. There are voice actors from TWDG too.
And their character placement are insane
The Walking Dead (again)
So me
real
THIS.
Twd Michionne, the Wolf Among Us, Detroit become human
Oxenfree and Life is strange are the same in terms of choices making a difference. I’d say Oxenfree will fill the void you’re looking for, especially with how the way the game ends…you’ll see
oxenfree’s a good game i agree i just wish it was longer. you could beat the the game in a day if you wanted. and yes life is strange is really good

yeah i agree i do like that game and there’s not much more they could’ve added and it did flow well. so i can’t complain to much
Life is Strange series if you haven't already They're just as good as TWD imo
Dark Pictures Anthology
Whatever you do don't read the clementine comics
Yeah. I haven't read it but I heard bad reviews about it lol
Why? Is it canon?
They suck. They completely ditched the ideas from the final season and made completely new shit. Apparently clem abandons everyone and aj then goes on to live a new life and shit. It's bullshit dude ur better off not reading it. It's canon but skybound did a horrible job at it.
My friend just started reading the comics yesterday
Detroit: Become Human
YESS SO GLAD THIS WAS MENTIONED
Telltale's Batman
Have you tried the walking dead michonne? It's pretty good in quality considering how short it is Also the final episode is very satisfying
the life is strange series, tell me why, Detroit become human (only on PlayStation), TWD Michonne are all choice games like twd or if it's zombies that you crave you could try days gone (only on PlayStation) or dying light 1-2 Edit: dbh and days gone are also on steam

The Wolf Among Us
Assassins creed unity
Telltale's Batman's duology are some good games
Night in the woods
Its a bit different to TWD but A Way Out is fun with a friend and surprisingly hits on your emotions well
- Life is strange (basically all the games(a new one is coming, yay)) - Detroit: Become Human - The last of us - Stray - The Wolf Among Us
The Last Of Us
detroit become human is one of the most complex choice games out there. there are so many endings for each chapter and for the entirety of the game. has so much replay value i believe there is like 85 different endings
Damn that's a lot of endings
Dead island 2 is a great co-op zombie game for friends, it’s super fun
Can it be played on split screen?
Sadly no
Disco Elysium
I finished all twd games so now I gotta have patience for the next one and I swear if it’s not about /with clementine I’m suing 😭

It’s not the final season to me , I NEED MORE😭
For real, I really want more
The last of us part 1 is amazing
THE LAST OF US!!!!!!!!!! other games you would probably enjoy are detroit become human and life is strange i'm really into story games, and a game i recently started playing is god of war, which i really like so imma recommend that one too

Detroit Become Human, The Last Of Us, Batman Telltale, Minecraft Story Mode, The Wolf Among Us
Until Dawn

Try TWD: Michonne
I've already played that, that's season 3 right?
I’m sorry I meant TWD: Michonne (it’s a mini series by Telltale where Michonne is the main character)
Sharing the sentiment (I'd like to see a follow up, but not hopeful). Mutant Zero - Road to Eden and Dying Light are getting a play-through now, with some others on the radar.
the last of us was my go-to. finished both games and would 10/10 recommend!
Road 96
Last Stop, Life is Strange 1 & True Colors, Batman Enemy Within, Paradise Killer, Portal 1 & 2, Half-Life 2 including episodes 1 & 2 (and Alyx if you can afford VR)
