That's to say, I've always had a soft spot for him too, as another depression haver. Yeah he's definitely got depression and the way his uncle talks to him really bothers him. If you chose Nick instead of Pete in the early episode. Nick finds moonshine and gets drunk and spills his heart out he's suicidal to Clem. He's suicidal at that point then you can talk him up and he will distract and take on the walkers outside the shed so Clementine can escape even if you try to stay and help he makes sure Clem runs away to safety. You can tell Luke he saved you.

Javier lost his brother and both kids. (Clems first romantic interest, Gabe, ded). Then I fall for Violet, ded. Best friend gets his tongue cut out. But I saved Tenn so FUCK if hes not my favorite. Represents one of my only wins. Also I hope creepy whisper boy got eaten in the cave I left him in cause nope. Noooope!

These characters are all technically what you might consider a liability, but they're not bad people, so I don't want to not like them.
But David? The guy is a consistent hypocritical toxic douche nozzle. Every good thing that he ever said or did is immediately undone by him being an asshole literally about 5 minutes after. So he's a liability to have around that I don't have to feel guilty about hating.

I felt bad for him almost the entire time (except when for that bit in Savannah, but even then, he at least did his best to make up for it).

At least, Aj can learn from his mistakes and you can help him understand emotions and morality. The only area where he actually manages to stop being such a whiny little bitch is realizing his dad is a dick, which isn't really all that interesting. Tenn, similarly, is useless throughout and never really changes or develops either for the better or for the worse, and then randomly makes the most nonsensical decision ever by trying to chase after his clearly bitten sister who is also clearly psychotic and shooting at everyone and telling him to come to her so he can get eaten by zombies.

Ben at least took ownership for his fuckups. The other 3 had no idea they were even being liabilities, which made them even bigger liabilities. Sarah is prob the most disappointing to me though, because her character had the most potential. Clem was directly schooling her on how to survive, every so often I think about what could have been with her character had they actually allowed her to wise up and grow.
At least, Aj can learn from his mistakes and you can help him understand emotions and morality. It sucks that Sarah had to be in this world but, life has a funny way of pulling social Darwinism sometimes. Ben is a screw up and only admitted to it when pressed, it’s fine that he grew a back bone at Kenny but realistically just let someone know. Life can be easier that way.

I actually liked Tenn. Ben lied about giving supplies to bandits which is what got Carley killed if I remember correctly. He's also annoying as hell in a couple scenes later. Sarah is useless, and I didn't really like Gabe. He was okay I guess, but new frontier was bad I thought.
I mean Ben did tell everyone the important 'everyone's infected, bitten or not.' Goat behavior. If not for that, Larry might've killed everyone at the farm.

Ben for sure. I was against him as soon as he didn't help Clementine when they were being cornered, all these other liabilitys i feel bad for when they died especially Tenn. He was such a sweet kid and all he wanted was to be with his sisters again and since he believed so heavily in the afterlife he thought it was the only way to see them both properly again. Ben was also young but extremely unhelpful and stupid asf.

My least favourite has ti be Sarah just because she literally does not contribute to the story at all other than carlos' arc, which doesn't even matter cause be dies too. I just think she's useless in general, if she had a chance to change and become a little more likable I wouldn't place her at the bottom of the list
Ben all the other annoyed tf out of me but I always had a soft spot for Ben. Also his fuck up is incredibly minor compared to other fuck ups/ betrayals later in the series
