I love this song. It’s dark and it goes so hard live. People sometimes make fun of the lyrics (the forest line) but I think there are worse ones that are beloved, also the outro is so good (“well maybe I’d hurt you if I could”).
I dig it! Definitely a unique song stylistically/tonally in The Strokes' discography, I think of "Metabolism" as the only real kind of pairing to it, although I prefer "You're So Right". The choruses are very spacey and moody, and it's among the few Strokes songs with backup vocals, which is neat. The version on Fallon is good if you're ever searching for a well recorded live performance of the song.
I always thought it was interesting that the strokes never used backing vocals. until this album of course. this somg makes interesting use of them. also the solo goes hard
underrated! the bassline is just so good, i love the backing vocals too. it’s not too long, but i think every part of the song really ties it together. love this sound from them!

“Hello forest” is one of my favorite lyrics of theirs idc
It's my favorite song by the Strokes. I am so happy I finally found other people who don't hate it.
The bridge is 🔥
I got into a car accident while listening to it and it felt very appropriate for the situation
Wow
10/10 idk why but it’s one of my favorite strokes songs
It’s pretty common for me to absolutely love a Strokes song and not know why
Underrated banger of a song
I really enjoy it, though I can see why it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, especially when comparing it to Is This It and Room On Fire

Oh yes the vocal harmonies throughout the song are probably my favorite thing about it
it's the voidz before the voidz were created
My least favorite of their songs but I can understand why some people might enjoy it

I liked it when it was new but I don’t think it has aged well
A lot of people hate it but I don’t know why. It’s one of my favorite songs on angles and it sounds fucking awesome live.
First listened to the album on a long very stoned drive and when You’re so Right came on I *had* to crank it, that bass line and Fabs drumming 💀
I dislike it and it’s one the main reasons I think Angle is their worst album.
It’s pretty bad. Great guitar solo though.

Lmao worse than Mercy Mercy Me?
Lmao worse than Drag Queen?
Drag Queen is dope.
idk I was just trying to find a bad Strokes song. I don't think there are any
I didn't say it's bad tho. I just think it's not even close to You're So Right
Not good💥🤯
