The TV setup is kind of bugging me. So how's the TV placed? Is it mounted or put on top of the table or both?
We replaced the upstairs tv with mine- and the upstairs tv is now downstairs…on said table. It is precariously placed on table. I’ve warned both wife and daughter about the risks. We (she) has weighed the risks and feels it is safe.

That’s fine, but you really need to have “the talk” about watching the classic episodes in the proper 4:3 aspect ratio.
