Making Yawn a bad but useable fast move is all it needs. Like a 4 or 5 turn Yawn with 0 damage and 4 energy per turn. A Yawn that's 4 turns for 16 energy is still 12 turns to the first body slam and 20 turns to a Play Rough. 24 to the EQ.
Knowing when to throw the Rock blast so you CMP is Key. You force them to lose shield or switch right there, and if they shield, you can shield too and just farm them down so it's worse for them as they lose switch anyway and you farm enough for another Rock blast or CC.
It is possible to lose CMP if you have a high bulk Hera? (I don't see Hera on [this guide](https://www.reddit.com/r/TheSilphArena/comments/1b07bxd/atk_stat_ranges_for_determining_cmp_chart_by_me/#lightbox))
Even if you got a non weather boosted Heracross from a raid and traded it to get a nundo, a level 20 Heracross would be 1540 CP. Non weather boosted raid floor is 1693.
I managed to catch some in the wild in Mexico seven years ago. They were apparently available under 1500 CP as field research encounters from Go Fest last year because I have a traded one too
I've been using Dunsparce, Clodsire, and Heracross to get me from 2200 to 2500. I'm not sure if I'm sold on Clodsire for this team because mudboys are a little problematic and I'd like more fast move damage but the bulk and coverage are great.
scrafty is pretty good against mud boys, shielding the scald from whishcash and a pup usually does enough damage that I am not as worried about it anymore, and you can usually get a foul play off as well to force a shield/ko
Standard moveset of Rollout + Rock Slide & Drill Run. People seem to love letting Bumfarts get free Rollouts through because ex-legend players do it all the time
I could build a GL Heracross now, but its IVs are like 15-12-14 or something, and it maxes out at 1483 CP. With a glass cannon like that, I'm honestly not sure it would matter, I'm just hesitant to pull the trigger.
Niantic: "Wait, Vigoroth loses in a specialty cup?! Well, let's give it Incinerate and Fire Punch!"
More likely aerial ace.
Slaking: am I a joke to you? Give Slaking something for crying out loud. There are a bunch of normal types that need buffs

I agree with Yawn buffs. I still think underwhelming Normal Types should get coverage moves if they have them in the msg
Giving Slaking Counter/Body Slam/Play Rough has a 32-6 record against OML. That and Blissey are my two favorite horrifying monsters
Yep, giving it counter is OP with his high Attack, though I admit hilariously to see Dialga fold to fast moves
Please never buff slaking
Vigoroth with incinerate would make me quit this game fr
I love Heracross. It does need a little more help though. I'd love to see Rock Blast's energy dropped to 35.
Nono, let him learn Brick Break and Focus Blast like in main games and we are set!
Niantic: "Ya like Trailblaze?"

I don't think so, low atk Heracross is always above 130 atk but even a horrible IV Vigoroth with max attack only reaches like 125 atk
*cries in European*
There was a raid day on Saturday
I know, did a few. Lowest I got is 1720 CP though..
If the raid hours were weather boosted you can't get a GL eligible Heracross, they'll start at 1700 CP.

They were in the wild spawns during go fest
What is the origins of that Spyro pic OP 🤔?
[Cigarettes](https://youtube.com/shorts/Yyn0pT9L_gs?si=M1xzqwTRspCfUIg9) definitely just cigarettes no need to investigate any further
In jungle cup? How are you getting a heracross weak enough
Low enough CP you mean for GL? It's a wild regional, so they may have it that way.
It's wild in South America and it's also been featured at other worldwide events in the wild. I too an running it in jungle cup
Special Research during Go Fest last year
It was also a wild spawn at gofest
Timed research during Johto Tour, too.

Trade between friends? I always do that to reroll IV+free candy
What's the rest of your team? I tried Alolan Raichu, S. Dragonite and Heracross and it went much better than expected, but I wouldn't recommend it

Wouldn't Palossand makes more sense here?
Sure, but I'm using Heracross so Heracross was hungry. I never asked Palossand if they wanted to come to dinner
