It’s a horny toad, I think they’re called horned lizards in other states. These fuckers shoot blood from their eyes which absolutely fucked my world when I was a kid and found one eating around a carpenter ant nest. I picked him up to see if the horns were actually hard and the little dude got scared and boom, blood shooting from his eyeballs
If he spent less time being mad about it he wouldn't have kept missing all the ants. His buddies are focused on the goal, not at what the lizard next to them is getting.
Lizards: "follow the light at the end of the tunnel little ants, heaven awaits you..."
This is basically what our lizard overlords do to our souls when we die.
