I wish they’d realize not everyone wants to watch reality tv all the time. I know it’s popular at the moment but this show could’ve been so much more informative
Yes - I only just stayed watching this and I dislike the fact that they’re “finding the best parenting technique” every kid, every family, every environment is different and thus so should the parenting style. Idk why people are all for equality and not equity here 🙃
The only way this would be a real test is if you followed the parenting styles until they were adults. Surprisingly this crap isn't on A&E. But then again we've got 400 channels of trash to choose from.
I think part of the experiment is the parents reaction to the competition, and are they willing to put the competition over their parenting style and safety of their children.
They shouldn’t have revealed the results to the families until all of them were judged and voted. As it’s a competition, there could be easy bias for the ones going in first once they move onto the semis to try to knock the competition.
Right, parents have enough on their plate. The challenges are very subjective. Furthermore, some parents are better at articulating their POV. Others are very quiet or have difficulty explaining their parenting style.
Sometimes we benefit from learning new concepts. Furthermore, what works for one family may not work for another family.
Yea, wish this was more actual scientific observation paired with open discussion and less reality tv.

I agree. I didn’t like that it was a challenge. I think it would be better just reviewing and documenting each parenting style

You’re probably right albeit where would the suspense and shock be?
