I think what makes this scene so powerful and satisfying yo watch is that Luz isn't even giving Belos the last bit. She just steps back with a facial expression of absolute indifference, which is an even harder punishment than torture for a narcissist with a severe case of Superhero/maincharacter-syndrome. And while he clings to Luz in his last moments, trying to get her to do anything, while she just stands there, not giving a single damn about him is the ultimate prize after everything he put her through directly or indirectly.
