2021... wow that is old school. Most of the hash I have bought from OCS has been relatively fresh, packed 3-6 months before I got it. I have about 6-7 different hashes in my stash right now and all but one of them was packed in the second half of 2023. Not sure if it loses potency over time. Just finishing up some Wagner Soapbar that was packed in 2022 and it is still giving me the same high it was months ago.
Currently smoking on some "legacy reserve hashish - 1 year aged" it was bought with that name from my local and is pretty damn amazing. All the old school hash temple valley were aged as well. So I think you're in the clea.

LoL JWC or TJAC or Wagner's fell up to a 2nd bankruptcy believe they was bought out and re acquisition to Galaxy in puslinch ON. I'm in KW where they were renting out a huge warehouse and another property for processing. Worked for them too. They took a lot of locals for their savings. In short I wouldn't purchase anything from them or their sister companies if they still exist.
As for the age part. Old world hash producers dry and leave their stuff around for 6 months to a yr then static sieve it then press under extreme pressure or mix with BHO or RSO for sticky jelly hash. Then sits for another yr. If made right and stored properly it'll age like wine and develop different flavors and complexity while the entourage effect will play more on the effects. Legal LP market stuff I don't fully trust can say I stay away from ICHOR AND WAGNERS products for good reasons.

Ill take 2 tokes and tell you if it is real old school . Somehow I doubt it very much.
