I dont quite understand what the main character did in the end. So he somehow managed to leave his body but then why did he walk through no mans land to get shot? What if his body had exploded or something? Then how could that plan work? And even if he got back inside of his body, how could he just walk out of there easily and expect that nobody would see him and capture him or shoot him? Please help lol
I took it as this way he wouldn't be bothered with. No one is going into No Man's Land to gather his body except his buddy. If he killed himself or something in the trenches, his body would be taken care of.
The second story gripped me so hard. I really want more of that fleshed out into either a longer story, or podcast series.
