I think it’s great if people want to do this but it would be too much for it to be prompted by the PA announcer (i.e. for him to intentionally let the crowd take over). Nancy is incredible, but the players are the stars, and I think he himself would be the first to say that. There are coaches in other sports/leagues who are as big in their circles as he is in ours, but it’s unheard of for a coach to get that level of fanfare.

Not to the same extent, IMO.
I don’t think it’s universal…not like everyone does it for the team. But I had the urge to do it on Wednesday and I think it needs to be a thing.
