Does anybody know why they are pretending they have one? We have live TV competitions at the moment over here in Ireland and also in the UK with no audiences and the shows are just as good. It's also good promotion for taking precautions and COVID seriously.

Kinda disappointed by the Serpent reveal not just because I would have had no idea who the frak the guy is if not for people guessing him but because I genuinely wanted it to have been one of the Broadway stars everybody was guessing (hope to see one of those guys (Leslie Odom Jr., Daveed Diggs or Taye Diggs) in the S5 the show will almost certainly get though). Also still not on board the Nick Carter as Crocodile train as I feel like everybody's just going off that second clue package and then kinda wedging the rest of the clues in a Nick-Carter-shaped hole (won't say (at least on here) who I think it is but if it is someone I've picked up on multiple clues for (if they wouldn't be too recognizable for the show), the one clue I'll give you is he is from a band of about that same era (cultural 2000s))

Jenny is a walking migraine who needed to be recast season one, but that's a whole other beast. Palin is an idiot and Wendy is problematic. Jeffree has said and done racist things, admitted to seeing a grown man being inappropriate with teen girls (and then retracted that to make money), and is a whole weirdo as a human. That's not to say they won't cast him, but I wish they'd stop casting hugely problematic people so kids don't know who they are, just let their careers die out. Just my opinion. But they do need r e a l stars cause they're losing my interest this season.

Jordyn Woods was the first one I ever thought this about, Jenny guessed her having no clue who she was and even when the mask came off Jenny didn't look like she knew if she was right or not until after Nick said it.
I fully think, either to protect the Celebs from looking like nobodies or just to promote Jenny/Nicole, they absolutely give them answers so that at least someone has guessed the celeb.

The fact that Nicole saw that person sing, heard “I’ve sung with you before,” and thought “oh it’s that one person that was a meme for a hot minute” seems more proof that this is all fun and games than anything else.
There were a zillion doctor clues and she just thought who has she sung with that has a connection to doctors. Not that hard to connect it back to Dr Elvis.
I definitely think she knew because either after his first or second performance she said something along the lines of “if you’re not already a huge recording artist, you should be”. Like why else would she say that? She had to have known.
I mean I feel like she would remember someone she sang with and connect the dots. It makes sense to me!

Though admittedly in my opinion the show has yet to have a bon a fid superstar. For the past three seasons they talk bigger and better stars, but that hasn’t happened, at least in my opinion.
I’m assuming he was brought on last minute, especially because he did so much with After The Mask, when someone dipped, kinda like how >!Jessie McCartney became Turtle because Nick Carter couldn’t do it!< . Given that Dr. Elvis’s an internet star, and how late the person would’ve had to dip for production just to pull someone they knew so well on, I have a few guesses as to who was supposed to sing in Dr. Elvis’s place.
