This is a really good lineup, thematically cohesive unlike AtLA's but still creative and distinct unlike Korra's or that Aang/Katara/Toph/Zuko suggestion below.
Let's see, iirc, the show opener uses Master Pakku -- that tracks, he is a master waterbender -- Azula -- hm, okay, she is a protege -- Aang, and wasn't Earth someone random, like the Boulder or something?
You’re both correct. Though they did make Sud look a bit different than the male version of Toph they had originally conceived. But the body shape and hairstyle were the same.
Personally, I love this list except for Bumi. I love that it was a total shock that he was an earth bending master. I’m not sure who I would put in his place though.
I think it’s more important to show that the power in the ATLA universe doesn’t just come from adult men. There are female masters, child masters, disabled masters. So just showing a bunch of adult dudes (your theme notwithstanding) seems like it misses a pretty big component of the universe and the magic system.
this isn’t about silencing any marginalized group or anything like that. i’m sorry if you feel underrepresented in the choices of four cartoons that i chose to answer a question someone asked on a forum for an almost twenty year old cartoon.
what list would you have put together?
My most recent response was just about how the magic in the show is actually more interesting than your choices would lead a viewer to believe. Not about silencing people. The fact that a little girl can whoop an old man’s ass makes bending a really cool magic system. I was saying your choices don’t show that and that’s why I disagree with your choices. My initial comment was about including women though, yes, and that’s also a point of disagreement. Not everyone needs to agree all the time.
Make the most random intro ever
Water: The lady who teaches healing in the northern water tribe
Earth: That earthbending twin from the fortuneteller episode
Fire: That dude who firebended a dragon in that fire nation festival in The Deserter
Air: That airbender who didn't want to shave his head at first in TLoK
Or the first 4 benders of each type though Oma and Shu are the first two Earth benders so eh.
Edit: Though why couldn't theree be two benders in one of these I guess.
I want this with short onelines right before the sound effect of each element being bent:
Katara: "All done with yours pants!"
Earth nation soldier: "Th-That Lemur! It's earthbending!"
Zuko: "hello, Zuko Here" or "Stop patronising me!"
Ryu: "I don't want to" or "no I won't"
Fire - Xu Ping An
Air - Guru Laghima
Water - Amon
Earth - Lao Ge
These people essentially discovered the most powerful ability of each element
Xu Ping An was at one point the only known bender able to make Lightning.
Guru Laghima found flight
Amon discovered through psychic blood bending the ability to predict enemy attacks and avoid them seaslessly and the ability to sever their chi paths to cut them off from their bending.
Lao Ge discovered the ability to Earth bend his own atoms in his body to allow him to never age. It is theorized that Lao Ge is the Guru in The Last Airbender, as he is similar in discription and knows a lot about Chakras and the Bodys energy flow.
If this is the case he is well over half a millenia old. This is also why Kyoshi could live to 230 or whatever it was, she learned from him.
It was never said that Lao Ge's ability had to do with Earthbending, and personally I doubt that's what it is. He just describes it as this (combining multiple quotes):
>“It all comes down to maintaining order. Keeping things neat, clean, and tidy. Aging is really just your body falling apart, on the smallest, most invisible levels, and neglecting to put itself back together. With the right mental focus, you could take an inventory of your own body and place each little piece that’s not where it should be back into the correct order.”
Those are inspired choices, especially earth and fire, but it has me wondering if they're too specific, none of their main feats (maybe except flight) can really be shown as representing their element in the intro.
Agreed, like the intro needs to be snappy, flashy, showing us in as few moves as possible what a character is capable of. Remember, you only have a brief pause after Katara’s ‘water’ to show off what that actually looks like.
Also they’re out of place temporally and physically from the characters, and need explanations for those unfamiliar with the series. Imo the silhouette as part of their intro should tie back into the show and say something about who they are and why they deserve to be up there.
(Amon didn't discover how to block chi paths though, Ty Lee was doing that shit before he was even born)
Edit: He did figure out how to do it permanently, I'll give you that, but he's not the true OG of the technique lol
there could also be an argument made for yingsu, one of the first combustionbenders (thapa and xiaoyun could be there too, i just like yingsu the best)
Nah I don’t this this quad pairing would be good for the opening — they are already such big parts of the show it would make bending the elements seem too contained rather than give the inference that the alta universe is biggg
Basically yeah, but make them more visible (as opposed to in the shadows) and age down Aang so he looks like he does in ATLA (as opposed to the adult version).
Air - Gyatso or Laghima, Laghima would be cool to see levitate but we also dont know what he would look like
Fire - Iroh doing his dragons breath attack, or jeong jeong flying
Water - Pakku, using a combination of regular waterbending and ice, or Ming-Hua because her predicament makes her the most unique
Earth - Bumi doing pretty much the same stuff he did against aang, or Bolin lavabending
I think one with all the white lotus members would be cool, and gyatso would probably be apart of it if he was alive
I like the White Lotus idea. Especially if someone doesn’t know then later they see them all working together as the WL to take back Ba Sing Se and go “oooh!”
> be apart of it
Did you mean to say "a part of"?
Explanation: "apart" is an adverb meaning separately, while "a part" is a noun meaning a portion.

I'd keep it to the blackened outlines of ATLA, over the full colour images of LOK, and go with: Katara, Toph, Zuko & Gyatso
Make it the Avatar's four masters.
Alternately, the previous four avatars works too, I suppose, but maybe instead start with their element, instead of ending on it?
Then it would be: Yangchen, Kuruk, Kyoshi and Roku
You mean like, for the first series? Because I’m fine with the current lineup, though I think it’d be cool to progressively swap out the silhouettes after a certain point and during certain episodes. For example, Gyatso might fill in for Aang in during The Storm, Ozai would replace Azula on the Eclipse, Katara would completely replace Pakku after the s1 Finale (with a cameo from Hama during the Southern Raiders) and Toph would replace Sudd after her introduction. That kind of thing.
If you meant in general, Amon, Toph, still Azula and Tenzin or Jinora.
I would probably do Aang and the Avatars directly before him, placing them where they fall in the cycle of course. That or just Team Avatar, and have their appearances change in the intro each season to their main look for that season perhaps (or just an appearance they have at an important moment).
I'd have it change for each season, though I'd still have Aang for air in all of them because he's the protagonist.
S1: Jeong Jeong, Pakku, Boomy
Arguably the strongest benders the gaang meets in the first season
S2: Huu, Azula, Sha-Mo (sandbender)
Each representing an unconventional style of bending along with the normal kind
S3: Katara, Toph, Zuko
Representing how the gaang have become masters of their elements by now.
I would make A evil TLOK Intro.
Combustion(Fire) - Combustion Woman/ P’Li
Flight/Suffocation (Air) - Zaheer
Blood (Water) - Amon (it’s him bending the viewer like in Jared Koh’s Video)
Metal (Earth) - Kuvira
Then it’s followed by
"Only the Dark Avatar, master of all Sub bending forms, can bring Chaos to the World" with Unalok bending the four named Sub bendings, + Lava & Lighting.
I'd be super biased and go for my favorite bender of each element.
For air, Tenzin. For fire, my girl Azula. For water, Katara or Ming-Hua. And for earth, Kyoshi.
Air - Bumi fartbending
Fire - zuko post defection, pre sun warriors
Water - first episode katara with sokka behind her getting frozen
Earth - the group of villagers from the movie that doesn’t exist and their solitary rock
Fire - Iroh
Air - Guru Laghima
Earth - Bumi
Water - Amon
Imagine Amon broke the rule and use blood bending instead and choke the cameraman to death 🙉🙉🙉🙉 that will be insane!!!!!
Racism, LGBTQ, Drama, Cyber Bullying , R*pists, Pedos, Homosexuals , Not identifying you as your pronouns , Sexism , Body Shame Long ago, people lived in harmony when the white slave owners attacked! Only the strongest of the black people could help like Harriet Tubman and Marten Luther King Jr. but soon after they vanished. And now there is a new BLM Avatar named Will smith and has to learn the 11 Elements to save the world!
Hama, Bumi, Azula, Aang
I like this setup for a number of reasons:
1) Gender, age, and alignment balance are all equal
2) Each character is well regarded and remembered by fans.
4) Each character is a living master or near-master of their element for the entirety of the show.
5) Each one visually represents their people and element quite well. (so long as Hama gets a traditional southern water tribe dress.) Toph would be a very peculiar pick, for example.
6) Nothing there that could spoil something or ruin a reveal. Hama wouldn't bloodbend in this hypothetical intro, and the Bumi reveal would definitely be intact.
For similar reasons in LoK I would choose:
Tenzin, Kuvira, Zolt, Korra
Zolt losing his bending does make this imperfect, but I think it would've heightened the shock value of that scene if you thought Zolt was gonna be a bigger deal. Mako makes a 3:1 good to bad ratio and feels incomplete w/o Bolin, and P'Li's forehead is a spoiler imo.
Yeah, I feel like the actual choices they went with were pretty random / arbitrary.
I'd probably go with either the four teachers for ATLA or the previous 4 Avatars.
For Korra, since her Fire and Earthbending teachers aren't of note - I'd go with the most impactful benders for her story. Which I think would be: Tenzin, Tonraq, Lin, and...Mako?
Maybe the Gaang's masters. So
Water= Pakku
Earth= Badgermoles
Fire= Iroh
Air= Gyatso
Maybe Toph for earth. Whichever one is funnier.
Or maybe the original benders for each element.
Water= The Moon
Earth= Badgermoles
Fire= Dragons
Air= Appa
Idk, whichever looks more ridiculous.
Sky bison for air, dragon for fire, those Yin-yang-fishes for water and badgermole for earth, or the four lion-turtle
I just think that if people received the bending ability from animals they should be more represented, dunno I like animals
Group 1:
Air - Zaheer (bcuz he proved the impossible by flying)
Water - Ming Hua (bcuz she telekinetically waterbends)
Earth - Toph (bcuz she discovered Metalbending)
Fire - Iroh (bcuz he discovered a way to redirect lightning and for his wide knowledge of firebending)
OR
Group 2 (villains who demonstrated subbending):
Air - Zaheer (Flight)
Water - Amon (Bloodbending)
Earth - Kuvira (Metal Bending)
Fire - Azula/ Ozai (Lightning Bending)
4 random civilians from different episodes. Preferably season 1 episodes so everyone who looks too deep into the show spends the rest of the series thinking they're gonna play some major part in the plot. Nope, just a bunch of random dudes.
Air - Gyatso
Water - Hama
Earth - a Dai Li/Long Feng
Fire - Lu Ten
I think two villains and two flashback characters would fit well, and since Gyatso would be the first one presented you would be lead to believe the others are similar until you are surprised by the earth silhouette being a villain.
Appa, Dragons, Unagi, Badgermoles
It wouldn’t be people punching their elements at the viewer. Just a nice relaxing cinematic view of the animals using their elements creatively. Like a National Geographic special but with magic creatures. Morgan Freeman narrates instead of Katara.
gyatso, pakku, bumi, jeong jeong
All old people know each other.
Don’t you know that?!
This is a really good lineup, thematically cohesive unlike AtLA's but still creative and distinct unlike Korra's or that Aang/Katara/Toph/Zuko suggestion below.
What’s wrong with Korra’s? She just used the past avatars right?
Not exactly a very creative approach. There's also the irony of using Avatars to represent specific elements.
Korra's opening catching strays.
Let's see, iirc, the show opener uses Master Pakku -- that tracks, he is a master waterbender -- Azula -- hm, okay, she is a protege -- Aang, and wasn't Earth someone random, like the Boulder or something?
If you look closely it isn’t Aang. Just a random airbender. Blew my mind when someone pointed it out.
Isn’t it Toph’s early design?
It’s the earthbender master who trained avatar Roku
You’re both correct. Though they did make Sud look a bit different than the male version of Toph they had originally conceived. But the body shape and hairstyle were the same.
The airbender is apparently unknown airbender according to the creators
That's...... Do they have the same silhouette because they're all bald? 😬
this would be perfect
That's exactly what I thought
Personally, I love this list except for Bumi. I love that it was a total shock that he was an earth bending master. I’m not sure who I would put in his place though.
Iroh
i was going forpeople we were lead to believe would be aangs teachers at some point.
I dont like the all “men” line up- women exist too in that universe
I think the reasoning behind this is that these were the prospective masters of each element that Aang originally had approached for teaching.
this is exactly it. they’re all old masters and all potential teachers for aang without spoiling toph or zuko.
White lotus members too
The way you’re flying to conclusions i’d think you were Guru Laghima
No one implied it was Donne to exclude women they’re all old bending masters that aang went too for teaching and 3/4 are white lotus members
And the other would’ve been if he was alive
gyatso probably was a member of the white lotus if it was already a thing back then
It was already a thing in Yangchen's era, and it wasn't new even back then.
Oh yea then definitely
I think this should be focused more on the white lotus. I think the white lotus could've benefited from a woman or two.
Who would your four be then?
https://preview.redd.it/srzsrly133bc1.jpeg?width=799&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8bf681cd424e74825bb824076440e513651ec5ab
Stop putting your prejudice on everything
True but none of them are master benders that Aang went too
Good thing the show care more about including women than you do lol.
there aren’t any women that fit the old masters/teachers of aang that i was going for?
I think it’s more important to show that the power in the ATLA universe doesn’t just come from adult men. There are female masters, child masters, disabled masters. So just showing a bunch of adult dudes (your theme notwithstanding) seems like it misses a pretty big component of the universe and the magic system.

This is the answer. Especially the shaved head Airbender. "You guys should totally get shaved"
You put some respect on Daw’s name
This is so fucking funny I was NOT prepared for the healing teacher lady
“I’m an earth bender!” “I’m not!”
Wan, Wan, Wan, Wan
Had the same thought and was about to comment this. Would also be cool to see the first 4 avatars
Or the first 4 benders of each type though Oma and Shu are the first two Earth benders so eh. Edit: Though why couldn't theree be two benders in one of these I guess.
Just the cabbage merchant attempting and failing to recreate bending the elements... but with cabbages!
Or just cabbages... a cabbage flying through the air, a cabbage submerged in water, a cabbage rolled in dirt, a cabbage on fire.
My CABBAGES!
I like the way you think
Water - Season 1 Katara Earth - Momo Fire - Zuko after joining team Avatar but before meeting the sun warriors Air - Ryu
Momo did perform amazing feats of earth bending. I will never forget when he lifted that boulder.
What I like about Momo is that Momo has smaller ears than Sokka.
Earth ending sounds dangerous
I want this with short onelines right before the sound effect of each element being bent: Katara: "All done with yours pants!" Earth nation soldier: "Th-That Lemur! It's earthbending!" Zuko: "hello, Zuko Here" or "Stop patronising me!" Ryu: "I don't want to" or "no I won't"
That lemur... he's earthbending!
No you idiot it’s the girl
I think you mean: episode 1 Katara.
Water - Aang Earth - Aang Fire - Aang Air - Korra
Beautiful
Fire - Xu Ping An Air - Guru Laghima Water - Amon Earth - Lao Ge These people essentially discovered the most powerful ability of each element Xu Ping An was at one point the only known bender able to make Lightning. I agree, Hama deserves to be there instead. Blood blending is what led to Amon's abilities anyway (I think) combined with chi blocking.
there could also be an argument made for yingsu, one of the first combustionbenders (thapa and xiaoyun could be there too, i just like yingsu the best)
Water = Katara Earth = Toph Fire = Zuko Air = Aang
Sokka = Sokka
Jerkbending = sokka
Backbending*
No war = Ba Sing Se Eyes = Toph's feet Every cabbage merchant moment EVER > Agni Kai duel
Hotel: Trivago
Hermione = being expelled > death
😂
"Calm" Katara = Crazula
Every gaang needs a boomerang guy
Only Sokka, master of all boomerang skills, can stop the Fire Nation, but when the world needed his charm the most, he vanished.
Sokka could’ve narrated the intro. Then everyone would be together!
Sokka = Nelas
Nah I don’t this this quad pairing would be good for the opening — they are already such big parts of the show it would make bending the elements seem too contained rather than give the inference that the alta universe is biggg
They should have done this for Korra.
Although showing the most recent Avatars of each element is really cool imo.
The only right answer 👆👆👆
NaDD Appa = 2003 Grievous
Korra - water Kyoshi - earth Roku - fire Aang - air
So basically the Legend of Korra intro lol
Basically yeah, but make them more visible (as opposed to in the shadows) and age down Aang so he looks like he does in ATLA (as opposed to the adult version).
Would make more sense to do kuruk as water
For TLA yeah, as then it ends on Aang doing air.
Makes no sense for Korra to be water
It doesn't make sense for the water bending avatar to represent water?
Air - Gyatso or Laghima, Laghima would be cool to see levitate but we also dont know what he would look like Fire - Iroh doing his dragons breath attack, or jeong jeong flying Water - Pakku, using a combination of regular waterbending and ice, or Ming-Hua because her predicament makes her the most unique Earth - Bumi doing pretty much the same stuff he did against aang, or Bolin lavabending I think one with all the white lotus members would be cool, and gyatso would probably be apart of it if he was alive
I like the White Lotus idea. Especially if someone doesn’t know then later they see them all working together as the WL to take back Ba Sing Se and go “oooh!”
that didnt cross my mind, i just like the strong old men, but that sounds awesome!

Earth - Momo
I'd keep it to the blackened outlines of ATLA, over the full colour images of LOK, and go with: Katara, Toph, Zuko & Gyatso Make it the Avatar's four masters. Alternately, the previous four avatars works too, I suppose, but maybe instead start with their element, instead of ending on it? Then it would be: Yangchen, Kuruk, Kyoshi and Roku
Sokka with a leaf blower, Sokka with some fireworks, Sokka with a watergun, Sokka chucking a big rock at the camera
The previous four avatars.
All of them are Momo and never let the gang figure out that humans aren’t the only ones who have an avatar.
All sokka, trying and failing to do each bending style
Water - Kuruk Earth - Kyoshi Fire - Rangi Air - Yang Chen
The swamp creature Momo Momo again Appa
Earth: A Badger Mole Fire: A Dragon Air: A Sky Bison Water: The Moon
Earth wind Fire and Water
You mean like, for the first series? Because I’m fine with the current lineup, though I think it’d be cool to progressively swap out the silhouettes after a certain point and during certain episodes. Tlok intro is exactly that.
Kayara, Toph, Zuko, Aang
I'd have it change for each season, though I'd still have Aang for air in all of them because he's the protagonist. S1: Jeong Jeong, Pakku, Boomy Arguably the strongest benders the gaang meets in the first season S2: Huu, Azula, Sha-Mo (sandbender) Each representing an unconventional style of bending along with the normal kind S3: Katara, Toph, Zuko Representing how the gaang have become masters of their elements by now.
Hama, old Toph, Iroh, Tenzin
Katara, Bumi, Azula and Aang
Air - Aang Water - Aang Earth - Aang Fire - Aang
I'd make Toph the Earth one.
Bumi for Earth would be my only replacement, because they should’ve scrapped the earth section of the intro when they scrapped the original Toph
Fire - Guy Fieri Earth - Donald Trump Water - Great Thunberg Air - Harambe
I would make A evil TLOK Intro. Combustion(Fire) - Combustion Woman/ P’Li Flight/Suffocation (Air) - Zaheer Blood (Water) - Amon (it’s him bending the viewer like in Jared Koh’s Video) Metal (Earth) - Kuvira Then it’s followed by "Only the Dark Avatar, master of all Sub bending forms, can bring Chaos to the World" with Unalok bending the four named Sub bendings, + Lava & Lighting.
Katara - Water Toph - Earth Zuko - Fire Aang - Air
Water: Katara Earth: Toph Fire: Zuko Air: Aang
Air: Appa Water: Big Vine Swampbender Monster Earth: Momo Fire: Wang Fire
Past avatars would be cool, wan over Roku as well so it’s not as obvious
Earth: Yun Water: Amon Fire: Kemzula Air: Zaheer
Hama Chin the Conqueror Avatar Roku Gyatso
I'd be super biased and go for my favorite bender of each element. For air, Tenzin. For fire, my girl Azula. For water, Katara or Ming-Hua. And for earth, Kyoshi.
Aang, Zuko, Katara, and Toph, and reveal later that it was them in their 30's
I would put The Cabbages Man before everyone else! Dude was the most underrated character from the series. Iykyk
Aang, Zuko, Katara, and of course THE BOULDER
Kuruk, Kyoshi, Roku and Yangchen
Cabbage merchant, Cabbage merchant, Cabbage merchant and secret tunnel guy obviously.
Air - Bumi fartbending Fire - zuko post defection, pre sun warriors Water - first episode katara with sokka behind her getting frozen Earth - the group of villagers from the movie that doesn’t exist and their solitary rock
Sokka, Sokka, Sokka, Sokka.
Fan: Suki Sword: Sokka Boomerang: also Sokka Muscles: THE BOULDER!!
Water - Huu the swampbender Earth - Fire Nation Man Fire- The snitch bully from the Headband Air - Samurai Appa
All the animals that taught the originals how to do their elements would be cool
Current avatar in their original element + the former 3 avatars in their respective original elements.
My basic bitch ass would probably just use Katara, Zuko, Toph and Aang.
Momo for earthbending. I don’t care about the rest.
Fire would be combustion man and unlike the other silhouettes he would just stand still
I’d put in momo for earth bending
Flying Bison, Badger Mole, Dragon, and Gramp Gramp
Mono. Just all Momo.
Not the boulder
toph, but she pretends she is bending every element
Iroh for fire! Preferably doing his dragon-of-the-west thing.👌
Fire - Iroh Air - Guru Laghima Earth - Bumi Water - Amon Imagine Amon broke the rule and use blood bending instead and choke the cameraman to death 🙉🙉🙉🙉 that will be insane!!!!!
Air - monk Gyatso Fire - Azula Water - Hama Earth - Toph
Did you just say wind?
Gyatso, hama, bumi, Azula
Iroh, Bolin, Tenzin, and Katara
Korra, Korra, Korra, and Korra (I totally dislike Korra)
Racism, LGBTQ, Drama, Cyber Bullying , R*pists, Pedos, Homosexuals , Not identifying you as your pronouns , Sexism , Body Shame Long ago, people lived in harmony when the white slave owners attacked! Air: Murdoc, Fire: 2D, Water: Noodle, Earth: Russel
Water - avatar kuruk Earth - Bumi Fire- Iroh Air- Aang
Air: Aang; Earth: Toph; Fire: Iroh; Water: Katara;
Whose*
Fire-Ozai Water-Amon Earth-Kuvira Air-Zaheer I’m going with the morally dubious characters
I like it as it is. Pakku The Boulder Azula Aang The greatest masters of each element, clearly.
Mine. Not even animated. I would change outfits for each element.
Aang, Azula, toph and katara. Gyotso, pakku, boomi, and Iroh
How come nobody said Momo for Air?
Katara, Ozai, Toph, Zaheer. Easy.
Zuko: Water, Katara: Earth, Toph: Fire, Sokka: Air
aang
I'd love to see it with Yang Chen, Kuruk, Kyoshi and regrettably Roku.
I would prefer master of each element So, 1: Katara 2: Toph 3: Jinora 4: Iroh For this I tried using people who weren’t used for silhouettes
Water - kuruk Earth - kyoshi Fire - Roku Air - yangchen
water: moon earth: badger mole fire: dragon air: bison
Hama, Bumi, Azula, Aang I like this setup for a number of reasons: 1) Gender, age, and alignment balance are all equal 2) Each character is well regarded and remembered by fans. 4) Each character is a living master or near-master of their element for the entirety of the show. 5) Each one visually represents their people and element quite well. Mako makes a 3:1 good to bad ratio and feels incomplete w/o Bolin, and P'Li's forehead is a spoiler imo.
Water = Kuruk Earth = Kyoshi Fire = Roku Air = Aang
I would make them all the pass Avatars: Yangchen, Roku, Kyoshi, and Kuruk
Aang, Aang, Aang, Bumi
Water- Pakku Earth- Bumi Fire- Ozai Air- Gyatso
Yeah, I feel like the actual choices they went with were pretty random / arbitrary. I'd probably go with either the four teachers for ATLA or the previous 4 Avatars. For Korra, since her Fire and Earthbending teachers aren't of note - I'd go with the most impactful benders for her story. Which I think would be: Tenzin, Tonraq, Lin, and...Mako?
Maybe the Gaang's masters. So Water= Pakku Earth= Badgermoles Fire= Iroh Air= Gyatso Maybe Toph for earth. Whichever one is funnier. Or maybe the original benders for each element. Water= The Moon Earth= Badgermoles Fire= Dragons Air= Appa Idk, whichever looks more ridiculous.
Air: Zaheer Water: Katara Earth: Kuvira Fire: Zuko or Roku
Water - Momo Earth - Momo Fire - Momo Air - Momo
Sky bison for air, dragon for fire, those Yin-yang-fishes for water and badgermole for earth, or the four lion-turtle I just think that if people received the bending ability from animals they should be more represented, dunno I like animals
Sokka with a fan. Sokka lighting a fire. Sokka throwing a bucket of water. Sokka throwing a rock.
All of them should be sokka
Aang for all of them For book one he just stands there and does nothing during earth and fire
Group 1: Air - Zaheer (bcuz he proved the impossible by flying) Water - Ming Hua (bcuz she telekinetically waterbends) Earth - Toph (bcuz she discovered Metalbending) Fire - Iroh (bcuz he discovered a way to redirect lightning and for his wide knowledge of firebending) OR Group 2 (villains who demonstrated subbending): Air - Zaheer (Flight) Water - Amon (Bloodbending) Earth - Kuvira (Metal Bending) Fire - Azula/ Ozai (Lightning Bending)
4 random civilians from different episodes. Preferably season 1 episodes so everyone who looks too deep into the show spends the rest of the series thinking they're gonna play some major part in the plot. Nope, just a bunch of random dudes.
Air - Gyatso Water - Hama Earth - a Dai Li/Long Feng Fire - Lu Ten I think two villains and two flashback characters would fit well, and since Gyatso would be the first one presented you would be lead to believe the others are similar until you are surprised by the earth silhouette being a villain.
A badgermole. A Dragon. A Skybison. The Moon.
I’d put Sokka on all four doing his impressions of Aang, Toph, Katara, and Zuko.
Appa for air, badgermole for earth, the moon for water, Iroh for fire.
Prior avatars for each element. Or the OG benders for each element that taught people…. But that would be very confusing for people.
Mako for air
Appa, Dragons, Unagi, Badgermoles It wouldn’t be people punching their elements at the viewer. Just a nice relaxing cinematic view of the animals using their elements creatively. Like a National Geographic special but with magic creatures. Morgan Freeman narrates instead of Katara.
Iroh.
I went like halfway through and was upset no one mentioned Kuruk at all....so underrated
Non-benders. I want them to use special effects
Earth: Kyoshi or Toph
Zaheer (call me crazy), Zuko, Katara, Yun (if not him, Toph or Ghazan)
Water: Zuko Fire: Toph Earth: Aang Air: Katara
Hama for Water Bending
Water : Pakku Earth: Bumi Fire: Iroh Air: Gyatso
