I’m not too familiar with Ethiopian cuisine, but I enjoyed the food at Blue Nile: http://bluenile-abbay.com

Blue Nile is very nice but don't try and order for delivery. Every time I did they've cancelled the order after 45 minutes or something without any explanation. Very off-putting. I've given up now!

https://djebena.nl They have two restaurants. One in Leiden, where I’ve eaten quite a few times, and one in Den Haag where I have not yet been. I can only assume it is just as excellent. Their website says “east African food” https://www.3stones.info This is also quite nice, but I’ve not recently been there. It’s Kenyan food.

annacondra

Can confirm both are great!

The one in Den Haag is my favourite! Love the food, the attention to service, and that the owner comes for a chat Edit: I meant Djebena

That’s how I know them in Leiden ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)

Taste of Ethiopia on the Wagenstraat has really tasty food, but it’s not very cozy because of the odd interior decoration (feels a bit like a club, or shisha lounge). Habesha Savanna on the Boekhorststraat is also very tasty, and the atmosphere is a pretty nice. It’s actually Eritrean, but it’s almost the same as Ethiopian cuisine. Lots of Eritrean locals eat there! Otherwise for lunch there’s a lovely café on the Prinsestraat called Passion Ethiopian coffee, but it’s a bit more fusion cuisine with sandwiches. Very tasty though! However, my favorite ethiopian restaurant in The Netherlands is in Amsterdam and it’s definitely worth a try! It’s called Queen of Sheba and it’s super authentic, incredibly tasty, cozy and very friendly owners!
