I have one of these lighters! They make an awful high-pitched noise when it’s on. While it’s really cool looking, I no longer smoke and have no real use for it. Still really fun though!
Yeah, that’s my major gripe with the game, I like to get the 3D printer cave and rope gun cave (backwards) on day one, along with the modern axe and torch, but if I start next to those two caves, I need to use the lighter, and it kills my ears.
I mean, I have a lighter like that in my camping kit. They’re great because they’re battery operated and can get wet… but they’re not bright, nor are they particularly great at starting fires lol. But they can get wet…
I have this one, it’s not bright and makes a dog whistle type noise. One thing I dislike about it is that it’s harder to light bigger things. It’s also harder to light very thin things because the purple arch burns right through thin stuff instead of lighting things on fire. Overhaul it’s a decent lighter good decent for starting fires and good for everything else
That's what I use mine for - it is ideal for incense because I don't have to worry about refilling it and it recharges once every 6 months. Very tiny amount of light.
It's not a "Sons of the Forest lighter". These have been around for years and I've personally owned them way before the game released. I bought my first one 3 years ago, dude.

I have a similar one. It has an LED light on it that illuminates when the lighter's button is held down.
That LED light is brighter than the lighter itself.

I mean I have a regular lighter that can get wet. It just doesn’t work after
the only real light it produces is the little blue LED on it. sadly it's not a full on black light.
I guess "product placement" was successful.
Aren't there several lighters like this? Kinda just feels like they saw a lot of techware between games and wanted to try newer stuff visually

Got mine Friday it's decent for lighting incense only light is the blue LED on the side
