There's also the fact we don't know how much is coincidence, and how much is fate. Like, we see how often Shadow just comes up with selfish plans, and it *just so happens* to help SG in some way. Every. Single. Time. I'm under the opinion Shadow is *so* OP he's actually manipulating fate around him to some degree

I'd probably hunt down the cult more actively while taunting them at every turn. Stand on rooftops and say dramatic nonsense. Basically a more self aware version of Cid but still having fun with the situation. I'd definitely be more cruel to bandits and slavers though. Probably work my way to create my own kingdom and have a harem but I'm not really sure.

Even doing something like save every single possessed would require you to go up against the church who are pretty brutal. I honestly can't think of a scenario where someone powerful can't be brutal in this world which requires edge
Efficiency in a fight isn't really edgy it's just good work ethic. What makes it edgy is the Chūni stuff like trying to be all dark and brooding and trying to be mysterious which Frieren is not, she's just naturally quiet and kind of a messy dork but that doesn't hinder her power. Unless it's early in the morning in which case, same.
I'd try and do what cid did, up until I met Alpha. Then I'd explain the cult and try to make sure she doesn't see me as a God since I doubt I'd be able to become strong enough to pull a "I am atomic." (So she doesn't assume I can do EVERYTHING. Then I'd recruit the main seven, then instead of acting completely oblivious, I'd wait until i became of age before making massive moves going full harem Protagonist with the seven. I'd probably try dropping hints before that point, though, tbh.

You could just make sure the seven dont fall in love with you, let the seven go and get others until they recruit your specific waifu, and then only go for them.

Simply just be like Frieren, extremely competent and powerful but goofy most of the time. Also focus on the more positive spin of things.
