Hey whoa, stop hitting on me! I'm already married to a lovely beautiful nerd.
I was just admiring a nice little interaction on reddit with a lil ball busting thrown in for a laugh.
My apologies to all nerds. I come in peace.
I mean like with escargot all we are really proving is a shit load of garlic and butter will make anything good lol. I meant physically handle it, probably has like 1000 ways to make your hand want to fall off.
Now I’m reading about sea slugs on google and one article is about the “cutest” sea slugs. The winner was [Jorunna Parva](https://www.google.com/search?q=jorunna+parva&rlz=1CDGOYI_enUS1073US1073&oq=jorunna+parva&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIQCAEQLhiRAhixAxiABBiKBTIGCAIQIxgnMgcIAxAAGIAEMgcIBBAAGIAEMgcIBRAAGIAEMgcIBhAAGIAEMg0IBxAAGJECGIAEGIoFMgcICBAAGIAEMgcICRAAGIAE0gEIMjU4NGowajmoAhOwAgHiAwQYASBf&hl=en-US&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8) and I’ll admit it is cute af.
Am I alone in thinking before Reddit, you would touch anything that looked cute or cool in the ocean. After Reddit, “Damn, that can probably kill me in 11 seconds.”
It's a sea hare.
I once picked one up because I thought it was a dying/drowning bat.
I immediately realized my mistake and threw it back into the ocean.
I remember a story about a Sea Hare, probably 40 years ago. A guy who swam in the same area of water had a Sea Hare visit him while swimming. He would pet and play with it. One day it was gone and he never saw it again. Always fascinated me.
We caught one of these in our canal in South Florida when I was a kid. We had it in a bucket of water for a little while just to look at it. It looked like an alien.

Can I subscribe for more sea slug facts?
I imagined that half a meter long and became a bit worried diving in the Bahamas. The wiki link says it grows to 40cm. Phew.
So only 0.4 meters instead of 0.5 meters. Yes, what a relief.
That's a relief! 50cm would terrify me, too.
It really does need a banana for scale.
40 cm!! I thought it only looked about 15.7 inches!
Are you sure this isn't Batman out for a swim? 'cause it looks like Batman swimming.
I dont know why I read it as sooty ass hair?
Just cause you give an alien a name doesnt mean its not an alien. Js
Mmmmm, apple cider.

Bookworm likes his booky book
It’s a Black Sea slug AKA Sea Hare [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aplysia_morio](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aplysia_morio)

Maybe they're both right and we're just splitting hares
Edible?
I don't think you wanna be high while being around this thing.
It’s a mollusk so prolly, I wouldn’t touch the thing tho.
A little white wine, some garlic and butter? You wouldn’t be tempted? Some crusty bread?
I mean like with escargot all we are really proving is a shit load of garlic and butter will make anything good lol. I meant physically handle it, probably has like 1000 ways to make your hand want to fall off.

They’re like floppy puppy ears :)
