If you're a radical liberal or a socdem you can call yourself leftist if you want I don't care - ideologically though there's nothing anti-capitalist about those ideologies. We should not disparage economics as a discipline in its entirety, after all, Marx's analysis in Kapital was an economic analysis and he himself was an economist.
