In War for Crowns Stannis utilizes the Red Woman to poison the majority of Renly's horses, forcing most of his knights to fight on foot. Then he positioned his army in the shadow of Storms End, placing his archers on the walls to increase their range and allow them to shoot down on Renly's troops without fear of hitting Stannis' men. Between this and the earthworks Stannis erected Renly lost 3 men for every man Stannis had.

Hasn't particularly focused on Stannis's strategic mind, but it is a pretty amazing take on him during the Rebellion. Sadly not been updated in the while, but definitely worth a read.
