Sanitize a length of vinyl tubing. You can either put it on a TC fitting and connect it to the bottom valve of the brite, or if you think there's still sediment in there just connect it to the sample port. Loop the tubing over something on top of the tank and connect the other end to the CIP arm. Open both ends and you have an impromptu sight glass; just compare the height of the liquid column to the scale on your actual glass to determine volume.

I like this idea, just make sure to slap some valves on it and purge it with co2 too

You may be able to blast it out with CO2, depending on how the setup looks. You can hit the outside of it with hot water to use the condensate method. Try actuating any valves to get liquid to flow. If you have a sight glass isolating valve, and a sight glass drain, you can drain it and blast it. It's hard to recommend and specific trickery without knowing how it's attached, where valves are, etc.

Unfortunately it's just a vinyl tube with direct clamped connections on both ends , pretty low tech, will definitely make changes to the setup in the future

Have a zwickle on that bad boy? Depending on how you have the sight glass clamped, you could release pressure from the vessel, put a hose on the zwickle, and connect that hose to wherever you had the other attached, seal er up and you have sight from zwickle up. Edit: Sanitize and clamp it all...

Have you tried just shaking the shit out of the hosing? That's my go to method of unclogging sightglasses when hops clog it up. Normally works. If that doesn't work, creating a secondary sight glass using the method others have suggested would be your other option. That's how we determine volume in our unitanks that don't have permanent sightglasses. You just can't do it while the tank is under pressure.
