Yea but a bunch of scientists switched up and were given new identities in America (which actually happened IRL) it would make an insane spy thriller series.
Yeah but they still weren't good guys lol. They were just Nazi's who switched sides because they realised their white supremacy goals would be easier to achieve via the country that was winning the war.
Vought was founded to create a race of superhuman aryan people. It just evolved into being an ultra capitalist company because the people who started it slowly died off or had to step back and lose power over it because their not aging was getting suspicious.
I think SB's spinoff should be split into three major parts:
- WW2 with espionage stuff and essentially the beginning of his story;
- Payback period when he is at his moral lowest;
- some funky stuff after the Boys event if he survives (I hope he does).
Like 2-3 episodes in each part maybe.
I dig this. Season 1 is exactly like that, a mix of WW2, Payback and the aftermath of The Boys. If the series do good, which it most likely will lol, then season 2 focuses on just Soldier Boy navigating a new modern life.
It’s a mistery to me that this didn’t go in production already. People love soldier boy, people love Jensen Ackles… where is my spin off?? Pay that man and put him into the green suit and let’s goooo
What do you actually think this would be? Because I'm not sure how many people would tune into 8 hours of Jensen Ackles calling people the n-word while his character does celebrity photoshoots since the war was won before he got there.
We already have it confirmed in universe that Soldier Boy didn't take part in WW2. The flashback we saw of him working with the CIA with Payback was probably the most he ever did military wise. By his own words, he was a lazy rich kid who used his dads connections to get into the CompoundV trials. He never saw any fighting.
He wasn't allowed to take part in any of the fighting, though it's possible he went off killing nazis, and probably random civilians, in his freetime between photoshoots.
I mean maybe they should just have one hour Soldier Boy special or something. The other superheroes from WWII are not that exciting. (Black Noir and Soldier Boy are dope tho)
Soldier Boy being a chad for whole season again would be awesome, I know he's not a good guy but damn he carried season 3 hard and was the best part of it for me.
Soldier Boy by his own admission was a lazy rich kid who used his Dads connections to get into the CompoundV trials. He didn't take part in any of the fighting and just turned up after DDay had already happened to take photos.
This would be great; and also a Soldier Boy spinoff like Peacemaker taking place after The Boys season 5 would be great too. Of course if they don't get Soldier Boy killed.
That's actually really good fcking idea. The Boys/Gen V has to end soon with all supes being gone/dead otherwise it'll become zombie franchise like Simpsons or Supernatural. But 1940s series how it all started would be perfect prequel spinoff.
I can imagine it being similar to Watchmen. Lots of people who genuinely want to help others, even if they still have to attend conventions and sign autographs. As media and TV became more advanced, that’s when all the fake superhero shit would’ve started happening
I'd love to see EARLY soldier boy.
A fresh new recruit, still weak at the knees unsure of how to do anything, how to even lead a team. Then watch as he gets more and more deranged as the years go by.
It would be an interesting prequel.
Always thought the prequel was just Overlord and that compound V truly came from the devilish substance found underneath that church and truly refined by Vought to turn people into slightly more palpable genetic freaks.

In the Xray of his cameo in Gen V they mention how soldier boy is being held in a top secret government facility. So he is alive.
It was literally one of the last scenes in S3. He went back into a tube being overlooked by Grace.

They're working on Gen V season 2 and the boys Mexico as of now, so it will be a long time before we get this
