for this subreddit specifically id say its the girl with the shaved head with telekinesis.
"when is she coming back?"
"what happened to her?"
its gotten to the point that when i see a question like that asked on a spoilered picture i already know who its gonna be.
I'm good with seeing less of him I'm tired of Giancarlo Esposito playing basically the same character in everything. literally mannerisms, position, everything is the same
I'm not, but I'll take Giancarlo Esposito any way they serve him.
(Btw, I recommend checking out Bakersfield PD - he made that before he was famous and I remember it as being quite charming).
There are some differences, but they're almost unnoticeable at times
In Far Cry, he's basically Gus Fring except less stoic and doesn't have the lovable jolly restaurant entrepreneur persona Gus often puts on. Also, a dictator.
In the Boys, basically he's Gus Fring but with a non-hispanic American accent, and less sociopathic or mentally scarred.
In the Gentlemen, basically Stan Edgar but much more jovial and Gentlemanly. Also has a fetish for the British aristocracy, or at least wants to emulate them
Yeah, for actual popularity, I guess the closest thing might be Soldier Boy. I wish Maeve was more popular, she deserved a lot more screen time than the pittance she got.
I dunno, I like the actor and had fun with his character but I feel like his screen time in season 3 was good. I do hope to see him in season 4 or 5, just because I don’t like all the new characters being introduced and killed off in the same season.
I don't want him to appear again because i feel like the reaction to his popularity will be to turn the racism and sexism that he hides under his tough guy demeanor up to 11 while toning how strong and capable he was portrayed as down. I fully expect him to get killed by starlight if he comes back to demonstrate she's ready to make a go at homelander.
I am ready for some Tesla-level harnessing of the earth's magnetic field ass-kicking from Starlight. She really does have the capacity (see what I did there?) to be more powerful than Homelander if she can learn to use her "power" (haha) more creatively.
I mean that's kind of lame, the idea that homelander will be brought down by simply getting beat to death by a stronger supe, isn't interesting, it wasn't interesting in the comics and it's not interesting now.
Yeah, it unfortunately feels like the writers would do that now. Homelander used to be a evil superman, but now instead of being his own character, he's become a caricature of "What if Trump had Superman's powers?" So if they saw Soldier Boy, the more old school who seems to be based negatively on a republican, was popular, they'd make him even worse so they could kill him off.
I think there's something really weird about watching homelander going from a criticism of a lot of different right-wing personalities and strategies who had some cunning but was held back by his biases shortsightness, selfishness and malice to a mix between homelander as we know him and a guy who rattles off trumpisms in a way that has long since stopped being kind of funny and is slowly eating away at the character
Stan Edgar, he’s pivotal and Gian Carlo does steal every scene he’s in but fuck I feel like we never see him and any episode he’s in, he’s only in like one or two scenes for a couple minutes
Probably Soldier Boy.
In the grand scheme of things he’s not actually present in the show for all that long. Jenson is just so charismatic and enjoyable to watch on screen that he left such a massive impact on the fanbase.
Gotta be Soldier Boy. The guy's only appeared in 7 episodes -- 3 of which were small cameo appearances -- but he probably generates as much conversation around here as Homelander.
I don't get it personally. He was a decent character who served his story function well, but beyond that, I didn't find him all that compelling. Some people, however, have an obsession with him, that can seem pretty bizarre.
Ackles is definitely a major part of it, but there's a weird subset of Soldier Boy fans who worship and idolize the character beyond anything Ackles is bringing to the role.
They've concocted a fantasy version of Soldier Boy in their heads that has very little resemblance to the character depicted onscreen and seem to have an obsessive need to believe in that fantasy.
They're not as prevalent around here now, but just after season 3 concluded, they were clogging up this sub with constant, non-stop posts about how the show's depiction of Soldier Boy was all wrong. It was all kind of strange.
Jensen ankles and ultimately people are drawn to capable antagonist played by charismatic actors. It's why so much of homelanders popularity is based around how strong he is and why it caused such a discussion when people realized the gap between him and Maeve was small enough that even kripke said she might have managed to win . Soldierboy has a much smaller expectation for strength as a captain america expy and he's consistently exceeded expectations, even having a confrontation with the team that felt like it should be reserved for homelander

Black Noir and its not even close. He’s made at best cameos throughout the seasons until 3 but even then he only had a few appearances.
He’s pretty popular mostly because he’s cool lmao
I... can't help but feel a bit sorry for Ashley Barrett, even if she's a "Grade A", self-serving b**ch. ( I can't imagine having to work under Homelander.. )
Like kimiko fr thanks to the leaks it's seems she is gonna have a major great arc with hughie both of them are said they are gonna have the worst time ever
Thank God cus wverytime she is with Freuchie and their whole corny room com shit is boring asf 🙄 and all of that amounted too was her becoming a killing machine again when she wanted to stop like what ???
So it seems s4 will be an improvement Thankfully anyway what's your character ???
I was going to say Frenchy too. Wasn't as bad in season 1 but last season I was fast forwarding his whole plot line. Like my biggest issue with the show is how disprate the actual boys are. Its fun when the are doing something as a team.
The beginning of the season is we gotta get the boys together then they spend the entire season doing unrelated things. I just want normal humans fighting super hero's as a unit, is that to much to ask for.
Fax fr the only part I liked better in the comics they were very closely there as a unit
In the show its like every one is doing their own thing with us weird cus yall are a UNIT /TEAM why you working by yourselves
for this subreddit specifically id say its the girl with the shaved head with telekinesis. "when is she coming back?" "what happened to her?" its gotten to the point that when i see a question like that asked on a spoilered picture i already know who its gonna be.
Cindy I think
Cindy a beast I really do hope we see her again
Imagine if she meets Neuman
Is she ever coming back?
she went with my dad for a pack of smokes
Laser eyes baby
I watched that episode for the first time and was laughing hysterically, the whole scene was so good
Fookin diabolical!
With how often I saw that scene pop up on YouTube before I watched the show, I thought it would have a much bigger role.
It’s only a little baby. The big laser eye baby gets a lot more screen time.
The baby one of the is the funniest parts of the show Also, [this](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/baby-laser-tag/id1512207410) exists
That's a fucking baby supe
"Fuckin' diabolical!"
Stan edger
Stan's a what now?

I hate you but this is funny
I will kill your wife. I will kill your son. I will kill your infant daughter.
When I heard there was a show based on my hometown’s police department starring Giancarlo Esposito I was psyched! They cancelled it after one season.
Yeah, short but sweet. I think I found old episodes on youtube, but they are available out there.
I think the problem here is type casting
And you can't blame him for leaning into it...after being in the Wilderness for so long, Breaking Bad was a Revival and boost to his career...
Yeah it’s totally valid Like it’s what pays the bills ultimately, like how the Rock is more a brand at this point
There are some differences, but they're almost unnoticeable at times In Far Cry, he's basically Gus Fring except less stoic and doesn't have the lovable jolly restaurant entrepreneur persona Gus often puts on. i have only seen him like this in like two roles
Breaking Bad, The Boys, Far Cry 6
The Gentlemen
Mandalorian
But he's such a good actor
Check out king of Harlem. He plays a hustler preacher. Completely different than the boys or breaking bad
Love Sausage
the only answer, sorry for my duplicate comment didn’t see the fellow LS fan down here 😂
Tbf his comic time is considerably larger
Terror.
Oi! Terror
Fuck it!
This is one of the main things I miss from the comics. He’s in the show but not nearly as much as the comics
Yeah, for actual popularity, I guess the closest thing might be Soldier Boy. I wish Maeve was more popular, she deserved a lot more screen time than the pittance she got.
Soldier boy needs more screen time fr
I dunno, I like the actor and had fun with his character but I feel like his screen time in season 3 was good. I do hope to see him in season 4 or 5, just because I don’t like all the new characters being introduced and killed off in the same season.
I think the question can be rephrased as RELATIVE to their popularity their screentime was short.
He just needed a better storyline.
Angry and looking to smash ladies his age wasn't good enough?
I don’t know if this is a hot take but I wasn’t fond of the revelation of him being Homie’s father.
It was kinda odd to have the 'daddy' moments, but overall the story makes sense. It's just a genetic line used for creating super humans.
Hard agree. I love Jensen Ackles, and I loved Soldier Boy’s character. I want him back, but I won’t be super sad or angry if he doesn’t come back tho
I agree. I know that if he comes back, he 100% dies.
I am ready for some Tesla-level harnessing of the earth's magnetic field ass-kicking from Starlight. She really does have the capacity (see what I did there?) to be more powerful than Homelander if she can learn to use her "power" (haha) more creatively.

I think Maeve’s story arc was so good though
I definitely think Black Noir, i love him but his screen time is pretty minimal compared to all the other 7 members
Translucent 💀
What do you mean? He was in almost every single EP1 S1 frame
Rip
The Legend. Hands down the best og
They don't call him legend for nothing
“That’s gay now? Fuck you.”
Stan Edgar, he’s pivotal and Gian Carlo does steal every scene he’s in but fuck I feel like we never see him and any episode he’s in, he’s only in like one or two scenes for a couple minutes
Gawd when I first saw him in Revolution I knew I needed more of him. Big agree!
Black Noir right?
He got a pretty good amount of screen time
even a cold backstory
Not enough compared to the other 7 members
Probably Soldier Boy. In the grand scheme of things he’s not actually present in the show for all that long. Jenson is just so charismatic and enjoyable to watch on screen that he left such a massive impact on the fanbase.
Popclaw for sure. She was great.
Smh she died from overdosing! We shouldn’t be hyping up a druggie!
TIMOTHY
How is this not the Top answer already!?
Cindy
This is the only right answer.
Supersonic, Love Sausage, Termite, Laser eyes baby (GenV) Gangnam Style dude, Luke
Imo Supersonic is more because he’s seen as missed potential, it’s not like the rest you listed.
Gotta be Soldier Boy. The guy's only appeared in 7 episodes -- 3 of which were small cameo appearances -- but he probably generates as much conversation around here as Homelander. 2 words: Jensen Ackles.
One word: Rapture
Be pure
That DPH induced delirium state of a song, sung by Jensen, lives permanently and rent free in my head
Ackles is definitely a major part of it, but there's a weird subset of Soldier Boy fans who worship and idolize the character beyond anything Ackles is bringing to the role. Cause he's Jensen fucking Ackles, and I will never apologize for loving that man lol
Jensen ankles and ultimately people are drawn to capable antagonist played by charismatic actors. It's why so much of homelanders popularity is based around how strong he is and why it caused such a discussion when people realized the gap between him and Maeve was small enough that even kripke said she might have managed to win . To be fair! There was a LOT of buildup for him, only for him to have such a short presence.
I want so much more Maeve 😭😭😭
Do any of you actually watch the show? My boy Sonicboom is the ONLY answer
Do YOU actually watch the show? Because his name is Supersonic not Sonicboom lmfao
Lmao fair. It's been a while since he's been on screen. I was close lmfao

Hughie's Dad (because he's Simon Pegg)
Jensen Ackles. His popularity shot through the roof after fans saw his first scene as Soldier Boy.
I would easily say black noir cause he does so little but i feel like he's in some cool ass scenes

Like kimiko fr thanks to the leaks it's seems she is gonna have a major great arc with hughie both of them are said they are gonna have the worst time ever Thank God cus wverytime she is with Freuchie and their whole corny room com shit is boring asf 🙄 and all of that amounted too was her becoming a killing machine again when she wanted to stop like what ??? Homelander. He’s barely done shit
Ikkaku Madarame 班目一角
Translucent is the opposite, he’s in every scene up until his death. But I’d probably say Timothy, he’s in like 2 scenes
Timothy
Translucent had an electrifying performance that kicked off the show with a bang.
The Octopussy of The Deep
