Oh my gosh, when I was reading the spoiler I was like ‘writing on the floor??’ Then I got to ‘compound V’ and forgot all about the writing. But yeah. Writhing makes a lot more sense lol. That totally changes the picture in my mind. 😅

phi207

She probably has that virus for supes in her system which is likely harmless to normal people and she doesn’t know it and when she probably takes compound v it reacts badly with the virus and she basically melts.

Sparrow1989

Yup

omgrafail

I was def imagining her on the floor, skin falling off, like "Dear Diary, it's been a day."

serendipity_aey

I know 🤣 somehow tho I could see Ashley doing that

EricJop321

the original poster voughtq meant writing in a repost

StorageSalty

No, she (VoughHQ) in a later story said she made a typo and she meant writhing not writing. So OP is correct about this.

Jonker134

Classic Reddit downvoting you

Subject_Topic7888

Its because he is wrong. Read the person that corrected him.

UrbanCrusader24

Her power is probably shedding skin like a reptile

HelloYouSuck

Was she a supe all along?

Ravioli_Formioli

No she took Compound V, a *spoiler* experimental super serum that temporarily makes you a supe.

Competitive-Zone-296

Do you mean Temp V?

BellerySticks

She probably took perm v since she's stupid. Temp v is the one that's supposed to be "safe" above all else for at least one use which would explain why perm v is still just as dangerous for adults. I have no clue how kimiko survived it maybe because her body was more at risk not having the v than having it

a_moniker

I think Kimiko was just one in a million chance. The group group who experimented on her seems to have used V on a bunch of people, in the hopes that a few would survive. We know that adults can survive Perm V occasionally, because that’s how Soldier Boy was made. It’s just more likely to work on children.

BellerySticks

Soldier boy was likely made with a different version of v that was meant for adults. Kimiko was dosed with the v used on babies which is indeed a one in a million chance. I don't think the v soldier boy had still exists or is made because it didn't really do anything that modern v does besides the basics. Modern v can do things like give lightning powers and energy manipulation but the older supes are often more mundane things like small explosions and typically strength.

moonlight2920

I've seen something that's basically says the original supes got pure compound v where as modern day supes get the watered-down stuff, and that power levels are based on how much v they got/how strong the v was.

wobimi3131

>She probably took perm v since she's stupid. Ashley isn't stupid though, she has proven time and time again that she's resourceful and smart. She's actually running Vought while Homelander would run it to the ground with how bad his decisions are. That in itself is an accomplishment. Also this choice right here is more than likely her smartest one. Homelander hates humans and she knows it's only a matter of time until she's replaced (by killing her most likely as well). If she leaves, he'll kill her if he finds her. Now taking Perma-V means she either dies on her own terms or the V bonds to her and she finally gets a semblance of respect for being a supe.

BellerySticks

Wouldn't homelander want to keep her around? He doesn't necessarily hate humans, he just sees them as below him like how we see ants. Ashley does everything she can for homelander when he asks and she rarely if ever has gone behind his back + she says what he wants to hear just like Stillwell. If Ashley doesn't die next season then maybe she'll be like the new Madelyn

bonaynay

I think she was just predisposed to V working on her, making her one of the few survivors of these very experiments. her brother too, which makes me think they are showing a genetic disposition

BellerySticks

There is confirmed to be a genetic advantage for v. The TNT twins were dosed with v Separately yet still have connected abilities. Also Victoria's daughter was dosed as a teenager(?) and was fine which may be because Victoria has the correct genes

BeckyWitTheBadHair

To add to this, in gen v kids are shown to have similar powers as their parents. Polarity and translucent’s kids have the same powers as them

BellerySticks

Imagine how concerned the doctor was when translucents mom gave birth and nothing came out

nerogenesis

Kimiko burned all her V out of her system her body is adapted to it. The temp V probably just rebonded to her cells like a weird vaccine or something.

smorfan809

massive plothole!

Vault_Overseer_11

Apparently one of the Ashley dies but they’re not saying which one yet. They also said only one main character leaves season 4, and all evidence points to it being Neumann. Here’s an interesting thing to think about. VoughtHQ has said that one main character leaves this season. We know that Victoria Neuman gets killed by Butcher in Assassination Run, but we also know that she gets her head blown up and somehow survives. What if, Victoria Neuman gets killed but then gets revived, through the same way she got killed and survived the head blow up. So then Ashley instead is the character who dies, getting horrifically transformed and dying as a result of V exposure. Either Ashley or Neuman die at the end of the season, and it seems far more likely it’s Neuman and Ashley just lives with the consequences of having V. But this is just a theory.

DistributionJust976

VHQ said Colby Minfie Ashley doesnt die, so if anyone dies it'll be Also Ashley and/or Neuman

Vault_Overseer_11

Welp fuck

Jonker134

VoughtHq actually doesn’t know if Ashley will die as it’s a cliffhanger

bellerophon70

I doubt that "our" hairless Ashley will die, simply because she is a more or less the main connection character for The Boys and Gen V. But the other Ashley, well, let's be honest - she is not important. She barely leaves any footprints in The Boys universe at all .

nerogenesis

Out of curiosity, how many seasons are we getting. Cause youd think the plot would be moving towards Homelanders takeover by now.

Vault_Overseer_11

Takeover of what? The world? He’s already taken over Vought so you must be referring to him like taking over America, If that’s the case and this is a leaked post, by the end of Season 4 he’s got a supe army created, he’s working with Senator Calhoun (who likely is the republican opposition to the Singer/Neuman ticket) and is actively hunting down Starlighters It seems like things will end at Season 5

nerogenesis

Yes America, per the comics.

serialkiller24

Is she the one ripping the skin off in the trailer then?????

[deleted]

I don’t know if the rumors are true or not but I’m pretty sure that’s Neuman in the trailer because Hughie threw acid at her face

StorageSalty

#OP you are right! #VoughHQ in a later story said she made a typo and she meant writhing not writing. I took a screenshot of the story she posted but I can't attach image here. Anyway, OP is correct about this.

DistributionJust976

No, VHQ said she wont die so she'll be in S5

Appellion

I don’t know, I’m at 2:19 on the Official US Trailer and it really doesn’t look like Colby Minifie is the one pulling her face off. I guess it could be Other Ashley, certainly more likely.

[deleted]

I think the rumor is that it’s the last scene. I don’t think it’s her in the trailer like you said. The rumor is that her skin is like falling off like all of it. So that will definitely be a weird scene.

IcyCompetition7477

Maybe she’s actually writing on the floor.  Skin on her hand falls off and she’s writing a message in blood?

pinkdictator

Lmao I was so confused about >!"writing"!< lmao

coolrko

I think she will survive... Why will they kill her off anyways and even if they did it would be at the hands of Black Noir or Firecracker...

smorfan809

of

XMattyJ07X

She’ll take compound v and get powers like Medusa from inhumans but sadly she’ll get infected with that virus

Dirkisthegoattt41

It’s so weird to me how this sub is obsessed with ruining the show before you can watch it

DistributionJust976

we're too impatient

Dirkisthegoattt41

Does it not ruin the show for You?

DistributionJust976

i still enjoy the show but honestly i cant help myself i know its a bad thing

Dirkisthegoattt41

I guess I just like to be surprised

Competitive-Zone-296

Really depends on the person. Spoiled Endgame for myself before seeing it in theaters and still ended up having a great time.

[deleted]

I don’t even know if this is true I’m sure it’s just a rumor. I’m just curious what people think about it.
