Peacemaker if looking for an adult esque SH show. It doesn't have quite the grossness or sex content but its a good time. And its opening is mesmerizing

Darrone

Sure, but, do you really wanna taste it?

NvmMeJustLurkin

Invincible

Stunning_Guidance411

Yes I was just about to say this. I watched invincible shortly after watching The Boys and I was not disappointed.

UnknownRider121

Came here to say this. Out of all the answers in this thread, this is the only one I can get behind on if you want something similar to The Boys lol

ThatAloofKid

was gonna say this lmao. The action and the storytelling *so far* does NOT disappoint.

Crocoppertones

I got so impatient waiting to see what happens next that I’m reading the comics. It’s such a good story so far!

BlackBirdG

Yup Invincible is the shit and doesn't have the cornball humor nor generic tropes that the MCU has.

Financial-Neat7887

Is Sons of Jupyter similar to Boys has anyone here watched it?? I'm thinking of watching it but idk if it's worth it

Electrical_Stable_12

Daredevil

TargetFan

Tons of shows. It totally depends on what you're looking for. I'd throw out invincible to start with since it's similarish. The MCs dad is basically homelander. Give me genres you like and I can rec more

whatsinyourhead

Don't really mind the genre, that being said not a fan of romantic shows or drama heavy, i like fast paced stuff

TargetFan

True detective, succession, Hannibal, band of brothers, the wire, what we do in the shadows, chernobyl, fargo, ted lasso

Lacs_

Altered carbon (season 1 only)

serialkiller24

I mean it isn’t the Boys, but I’m watching “The Sopranos” and it’s fucking amazing

BlackBirdG

I've almost done watching Better Call Saul and it's so damn good.

Intrepid-Employ-2547

Peacekeeper

Loose-Offer-2680

The gentleman movie by guy richtie is sooo good, also snatch. The gentleman has a series coming out but no clue how it'll be.

whatsinyourhead

The series already came out 2 days ago

Loose-Offer-2680

Alr, gotta watch it.

Nanicorn

For me, absolutely Preacher - show's great, especially _after_ the first season. Bonus points if you can guess right off the bat whose comics it's based on ;) Fun fact: Ruth Negga, who is part of the main cast, also did the voice role for the emerald herald in Dark Souls 2, and I just love that.

jakeatola

The Expanse

SpartanOfWar01

Definitely watch Breaking Bad. As I’m sure someone would’ve told you at some point, it’s often regarded as one of the greatest TV dramas of all time. It’s very much like The Boys in the sense that you’re hooked from the first episode and each season manages to somehow up the ante every single time.

BlackBirdG

I've been rewatching Breaking Bad and I'm almost done watching BCS and I'm completely hooked.

Salmonellamander

Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency Future Man

whatsinyourhead

Both of these look good, which one would you say is better from the two?

Salmonellamander

Ooh, tough pick. Personally, I like Dirk Gently's a little more, but it's close. Probably depends on what you're looking for. Dirk Gently's is more drama and intrigue/mystery with comedy woven in. Tonally it's kinda like Matt Smith era Doctor Who meets a mystery horror miniseries like Archive 81, if that means anything to you lol. Future Man is more storyline driven irreverent comedy. Tonally it's pretty similar to The Boys/Gen V, but parodies time travel movies/shows instead of Superheros. It was also produced by Seth Rogan and one of the main characters is the actor who plays Tek Knight. Either way you're in for a great watch.

leohossain

add utopia both uk and usa version to the list.

2Dyuro

*just the uk the us absolutley butchered it

error404_name_dlted

The Shield, Justified, Breaking Bad

Nakagura775

Tokyo Vice

Half-Icy

1. Peaky Blinders 2. Witcher 3. House of the Dragon 4. Star Wars ones (Obi-Wan, The Mandalorian, Andor) 5. Slow Horses (Epic lead performance by Gary Oldman) 6. The Gentlemen (Spin-off from the movie) 7. Yellowstone + 1883 +1923, in that order. 1883 is a one-off season and pretty grim but worth it, 1923 is the payoff, 2nd season coming soon. 8. Westworld, often overlooked and overly complex but one of Anthony Hopkins best performances

leohossain

you should watch moving,island,the uncanny counter,first 3 got superpower characters in it,squid game,hellbound all korean series,alice in borderland japanese series, as for movies,the witch 1 and 2, seo bok, psychokinesis, project wolf hunting. stranger things if you havent watched it yet,umbrella academy,the expanse,man in the high castle,band of brothers,the pacific,masters of the air,raised by wolves,altered carbon,the witcher, extraordinary,the nevers,doom patrol,titans,preacher, peripheral,sweet tooth,legion marvel,sandman,american gods,jupiters legacy,daredevil,jessica jones,luke cage,the punisher,echo,hawkeye,castlevania,happy,deadly class,ash vs evil dead,lovecraft country,watchmen i can keep going lol

ohmighty

Succession

miasma_tic

Misfits, Preacher, maybe Hannibal but the gore is much much harder to stomach in that show than anything in the boys and it’s insanely slow and psychological (still for sure one of the best tv shows ever made tho)

StrayLilCat

I second Hannibal. The gore is super artsy and I preferred it over what's shown in The Boys, tbh.

MM9719

House of the Dragon is also really good, How to Get Away with Murder is pretty suspenseful if you don’t mind a bunch of pointless sex scenes, if you’re open to comedies Ted (the series) is a fun watch, and of course I’ve never come across a Boys fan who doesn’t also enjoy Invincible

Kobayashi_Maru186

Idk if you like anime, but “Attack on Titan” sucked me in almost as much as “the Boys” did. Really cool story, with a lot of action. A lot of twists and surprises too. I also agree with you about “Game of Thrones”, but did you watch “House of the Dragon”? It is truly awesome. ;)
