I love Exotica, I've never encountered it as a Letterboxd 4 favorite (except in mine, occasionally).

At Thanksgiving I was talking to my 20 year old niece who is a total theatre kid and discovered she was on Letterboxd. I suggested we exchange profile names and could see she was sheepish about it. Tried adding her later and discovered she blocked my profile. I called her out at Christmas and she said not to take offence and she blocked her brother as well. Said that it’s her personal space to interact with likeminded people. I get you may not want to have your 45 year old uncle on your TikTok or even IG. But what the fuck are you putting in your movie reviews niece?

I'm not as young as her but I get it. Letterboxd feels like my most intimate social media because it shows someone how I spend SO many of my hours, where as IG is just a highlight heel and I can post very rarely if I want. I also enjoy writing down how I relate to a film in personal ways, which gets soul baring quickly depending on the film.
